‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Named CEO, Sage Uncovers Another Clue, And Abby Learns Her Baby Died

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that May sweeps will be action packed, and the viewers are not going to want to miss a moment of the show in the coming weeks. On Thursday’s show, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) convinces her husband, Adam (Justin Hartley) to be the CEO of Chelsea 2.0. Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan) uncovers a major clue to finding out what happened the night of Sharon McAvoy’s (Sharon Case) “birth” at Fairview. Abby Rayburn (Melissa Ordway) learns that her baby died when she tumbled down the stairs.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Abby will be rushed to the hospital after falling down the stairs. Immediately, she complained that her stomach hurt, and it seemed like her baby may not make it. Her husband, Ben (Sean Carrigan) promises that he won’t let anything bad happen to her or their unborn child. The doctor informs them at the hospital that the baby passed away and that the baby’s gender — a girl. Abby, of course, blames herself for falling down the stairs. At some point, it will come out that Ben’s son, Max (Jared Breeze), was the one who was responsible for his stepmother plunging to the floor.

She Knows Soaps suggested that Abby and Ben may eventually blame the Athletic Club for the accident, claiming that the carpet was loose. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint it could set the stage for Cain Ashby (Daniel Goddard) to do his own investigation, which will lead straight to sweet little Max Rayburn. How will Ben deal with the knowledge that his own son was responsible for his daughter’s death?

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Chelsea will ask Adam about his future with Newman Enterprises. Apparently, she found it concerning that Adam was upset that his brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), assumed the role of CEO of Victor’s (Eric Braeden) company. Of course, Adam assured his beautiful wife that he didn’t care, he just found it strange because Nick is completely “spineless and useless as a company head.”

Soap Central reported that Chelsea asks Adam to be her CEO and run Chelsea 2.0. At first, Adam resisted and said he thought she was the CEO of her company, but eventually accepted her offer. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that they immediately began planning the company’s next big move, and Chelsea was excited that Adam’s vision could change (improve) her company.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sage and Sharon will work together to uncover exactly why Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) lashed out and murdered Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush). The revelation will send both women in a tailspin and change their lives forever. Sage learns that Dr. Anderson’s nurse was the same person who told her that Christian passed away. They also discovered that the nurse had a deep history with the shady shrink — she was her patient and felt incredibly loyal to her.

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that it could be the one detail that could help the solve the case and find out what happened the night Sully was born. It looks like it will only be a few weeks at the most before Sharon’s world will come crashing down. How will Sage react when she discovers that Christian is alive and well? Will Sharon willingly hand over the baby to his rightful mother?
