‘Teen Mom 2’ Jeremy Calvert Focuses On Daughter As Leah Messer Avoids Rehab Questions

Teen Mom 2 star Jeremy Calvert shared a sweet photo of himself and his daughter over the weekend on Instagram.

As his ex-wife, Leah Messer, appeared on an episode of Steve Harvey, where she was faced with questions about her possible drug use and trip to rehab, Jeremy Calvert posed for a picture with their daughter, 3-year-old Adalynn Faith.

“My partner in crime,” Jeremy Calvert captioned the photo on April 16.

Jeremy Calvert married Messer in 2012, and in 2013, they welcomed daughter Adalynn. Sadly, however, just one year later, after plenty of bickering on Teen Mom 2, Jeremy Calvert accused Messer of cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend on Twitter and announced plans for divorce.

Although Messer denied cheating on Jeremy Calvert with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd, in late 2014, she later admitted to having an affair with her first husband, Corey Simms, in 2013 (Simms was just months into his marriage to current wife Miranda at the time).

Around the same time, Messer began facing rumors of drug addiction, and during Teen Mom 2 Season 6, both Jeremy Calvert and Simms spoke of the issue on camera. While Messer has steadily denied having an addiction to drugs, Jeremy Calvert alleged she was struggling with a “prescription pill problem” during filming. Simms and his wife, Miranda, confronted Messer about the issue before she went to rehab in May 2015 (she claimed her stint in treatment was for anxiety and depression).

Although Jeremy Calvert and Messer faced rumors of a possible reunion earlier this year, amid filming on Teen Mom 2 Season 7, those reports were quickly shot down.

“There’s no way in hell [Jeremy Calvert] wants to be back with Leah,” a source told the Ashley’s Reality Roundup in January. “They rarely text, and when they do it’s only about Addie.”

The report also confirmed Jeremy Calvert had gotten back with Brooke Wehr, whom he began dating in early 2015 after his split from Messer.

“They split for a little while but are back together right now and going strong,” the source reported. “Brooke is really different from Leah and [Jeremy Calvert] is really happy with her. They have a lot of fun together.”

During Jeremy Calvert’s marriage, he and Messer often feuded about his busy schedule with work, which often kept him away from home for weeks at a time. But now, Jeremy Calvert is working a new position, which doesn’t require as much traveling.

“He’s still working in the pipe lining business, but this position means less traveling for [Jeremy Calvert], which is good for his relationship with Brooke,” the source explained. “It will also give Jeremy a lot more time with his daughter.”

As Jeremy Calvert continues to focus on his family and his girlfriend, Messer continues to avoid questions about her stint in treatment, most recently during her appearance on Steve Harvey. As the Ashley’s Reality Roundup revealed on April 17, Messer avoided answering a question about whether or not her treatment program was for drugs by giving an answer that was completely unrelated.

“It took me quite some time to decide whether I was going to go [to rehab] or not,” Messer said. “I’m from West Virginia and everyone that I was around didn’t quite support me going away. They didn’t think it was good.”
