A newer, fuller, and extended version of Beyoncé’s Lemonade trailer was published to YouTube on Sunday, April 17. Within an hour, Beyoncé’s Lemonade trailer had received nearly 10,000 views. The description of the trailer gave more information about when Beyoncé’s fans could expect to see more about the mysterious Lemonade.

Many people reacting to Beyoncé’s Lemonade trailer on social media are making their best guesses as to what the full project will contain. Certain individuals believe that Beyoncé’s Lemonade trailer represents a preview of a visual concept album that the superstar is creating.

Meanwhile, some are commenting about what they feel are creepy visuals contained within Beyoncé’s Lemonade trailer. At one point, it appears that Beyoncé is wearing a white wedding dress in the Lemonade trailer, but she looks down and not at the camera. It is anything but a happy wedding day featured in the snippet that showed Beyoncé holding her arms askance in the Lemonade trailer, which showed her image jumping around the screen.

Beyoncé totes a baseball bat in one scene in the Lemonade trailer, as she sports a yellow dress. Only upon approaching a street camera, which shows N.O.P.D. — or New Orleans Police Department — in the security footage, does Beyoncé’s reason for carrying the baseball bat in the Lemonade trailer become clear.

Beyoncé soon enough destroys the video camera on the street keeping track of her, and the footage seems to bear witness to the fact that the Lemonade trailer is a preview for songs like “Formation,” which also featured plenty of footage of New Orleans.

The date on the security footage shown in Beyoncé’s Lemonade trailer is April 23, 2016, the same day that the Lemonade project is set to air on HBO. The black and white video footage shows “street view” in the bottom right-hand corner.

Beyoncé’s Lemonade trailer is fetching feedback online about the scary nature of the video. The imagery contained in the dark-themed videos released thus far has folks accusing the superstar of being possessed by evil, or of creating a horror movie. Others are likening Beyoncé’s Lemonade trailer to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video, which also was released to much acclaim and hubbub, with a long amount of video footage.
