Sandra Brown’s White Hot On Hallmark Movies And Mysteries-Synopsis

White Hot is centered around Sayre Hoyle, a smart interior designer who has relocated to San Francisco, California, after vowing to never return to her hometown in Louisiana due to a decade’s long rift in the family. But, Sayre has a change of heart after her brother Danny suddenly dies in what is being called a terrible industrial accident. Now, she feels compelled to go back and pay her last respects to Danny. She isn’t looking forward to seeing her father Huff Hoyle, a factory owner in town who many say is corrupt. Sayre has a huge grudge against the man who spent most of his life building his empire instead of spending time with his family.

At the funeral, she meets Beck Merchant, her father’s handsome attorney who has developed an interest in her. Annoyed by his attention, she is keeping an eye on him while at the same time getting to the bottom of her brother’s death. The details aren’t adding up, and before long, Sayre is launching her own investigation–an investigation that now has the attention of her bitter father and the local police.

She can’t put her finger on it, but she feels that everyone is hiding something, and as the secrets begin tumbling out, Sayre Hoyle realizes she is in over her head, leading many to question if she is only seeking revenge. Determined to prove that Danny’s death was no accident, Sayre goes up against the local establishment, her father, and law enforcement officials to find out the truth.
