Jennifer Lawrence has stepped out lately sporting a new take on the classic bob cut. The X-Men: Apocalypse star revealed a new spring do that included a bob style with a futuristic silver hue.
Tuesday saw Lawrence revealing her icy tresses at CinemaCon 2016 and the style has quite an edgy appeal that is unusual for the beauty. Previous to this new do, Lawrence had unveiled a seriously blonde mane of a platinum color for her soon-to-release film Passengers, but the silver is one step further. Perhaps the futuristic plot of the film inspired Jen to experiment with a more futuristic style.

It seems as though Jen is required to change up her look on occasion for the films in which she stars. Self reveals additional roles that Lawrence was expected to transform for.
“The Hunger Games series Lawrence kicked butt as Katnis Everdeen with long brunette strands. And her hair transformation doesn’t just stop with beautiful dye jobs. She’s had some pretty chic haircuts, too. The director of Catching Fire revealed to that all of the hair color chemicals eventually damaged her strands. ‘We actually fried her hair, which is sad,’ he said. So Lawrence completely chopped her locks into a stylish pixie.”
Jennifer Lawrence has been like a chameleon when it comes to her hair color, since coming on the scene as Katniss Everdeen. From long brown locks to red-hued strands, to a short blonde pixie cut, followed by lengthy blonde locks and back to a stylish bob, it’s hard to keep up with what she may try next.
As for Lawrence’s acting, she has been going steady taking on a variety of roles of late. Passengers has been filmed and Jen is signed on to star in a new film directed by the master behind Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream, Darren Aronofsky.
The Irish Independent relays details of the unnamed film.
“The script, written by Aronofsky, centres on a couple whose relationship comes under strain when uninvited guests visit their home and disturb their lives.”
Details as to characters within the film have not yet been made known. However, other actors that are negotiating to join the cast are Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Harris, and Brian Gleeson. Interestingly, Brian’s brother, Domhnall Gleeson, is the actor who has, in fact, been selected to star alongside Jennifer Lawrence as her significant other.
As the publication notes, Domhnall has been on quite a roll, much like Lawrence has, after he “had a breakout year in 2015, with roles in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Brooklyn, The Revenant and Ex Machina.” Additionally, the actor will star in Netflix’s A Futile and Stupid Gesture along with Will Forte, which outlines the founding of National Lampoon.
The filming is apparently scheduled to get underway and is set to meet a release date in 2017. Aronofsky is experiencing a hot streak just like many of his cast hopefuls. The director is coming off a massive success with his film Noah that raked in $362 million at the box office worldwide for Paramount Pictures.
Having a cast that involves Jennifer Lawrence along with Pfeiffer, Harris, and the Gleeson brothers is certainly a sure ticket to another box office hit for the director.

As for Lawrence’s latest film that is set to hit theaters, Passengers, sneak peeks of the film are earning Jen and costar Chris Pratt two thumbs up. The sexy sci-fi thriller focuses on the two and there is reportedly some seriously good chemistry between Pratt and Lawrence. The two wind up being attracted to each other even though they are complete opposites. It looks like another hit for Jennifer Lawrence. What else would fans and movie enthusiasts expect?
