Kris Jenner: From ‘Vacation Mode To Crisis Mode’ Over Rob Kardashian, Blac Chyna Engagement, Source Reports
From vacation mode to crisis mode — that’s reportedly how Kris Jenner is shifting gears to deal with the Rob Kardashian-Blac Chyna engagement after returning from her recent family trip to Vail, Colorado.
Rob Kardashian surprised everyone — including his famous family — when he proposed to his girlfriend of three months on Tuesday. Rob and Blac Chyna broke the news with a photo on Blac’s Instagram account, and before the photo went public, it seems that none of the Kardashian-Jenner women knew of Rob’s plans — not even Kris.
So as soon as the fierce momager returned home from the ski vacation she enjoyed with all of her daughters, she demanded that Rob come to her house and explain himself, according to reports. A source told Hollywood Life that Kris is concerned that the engagement “has not been thought out.”
“Kris is worried that Rob made an impulsive decision when he proposed to Blac Chyna. She fears Blac may have given him an ultimatum and that’s why he acted so hastily. She’s obviously happy that Rob has met someone, but she just thinks this whole engagement has not been thought out.”
Rob Kardashian’s relationship with Blac Chyna hasn’t exactly been popular among the Kardashian-Jenner clan. In fact, when the news went public back in January that Rob and Blac were dating, Khloe Kardashian was so infuriated that she blasted Rob on Twitter and even kicked him out of her house.
Blac Chyna doesn’t exactly have the greatest history with the Kardashian clan. The Instagram model has been publicly at odds with Kylie Jenner ever since Kylie began dating Tyga, who is the father to Blac Chyna’s son, King Cairo Stevenson. Chyna has often slammed the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars via social media and most frequently targets Kylie, whom Blac believes began dating Tyga before she and Tyga had actually split.

From the Kardashian camp, little has been said publicly about the relationship since Kardashian and Chyna began dating, though Kris Jenner did acknowledge recently that Blac Chyna “seems like a really nice girl” and Rob is “very, very happy.” Jenner admitted at the time that she doesn’t know much about their relationship.
Nevertheless, some sources have reported that Jenner and her daughters believe Blac Chyna to be an opportunist intent on making a name for herself by taking advantage of Rob’s fragile state of mind. Before Rob began dating Blac Chyna, he had quit appearing on KUWTK and had, more or less, begun to live a reclusive lifestyle. While in seclusion, Rob struggled with his weight and battled depression, sources report. Since he began dating Blac, Rob has come out of hiding, lost more than 50 pounds, and appears to be very happy.
Surely, Kris wants Rob’s health and happiness to continue to improve. Sources indicate that Jenner was surprised by the move and she wants to make sure that Rob has a “plan for his future.” At least that’s what Hollywood Life is reporting.
“Kris insisted that Rob come over to her house to discuss his engagement with Blac. She is rattled by the whole situation and has gone from vacation mode to crisis mode. Rob went over to Kris’ Friday afternoon, and they had a heavy meeting. She asked that he come over alone as soon as she returned from her ski trip in Colorado. She is trying to make sense of everything that is going on with him and help him come up with the best plan for his future.”
