“There has actually been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”

Janet Jackson makes it clear there has been a “sudden change.” This could infer complications involving an existing pregnancy, suddenly discovering she is pregnant, or choosing the right time for IVF, but the word “sudden” lends to the idea this is something out of her direct control to schedule. Also, notice her smile during this part of the video; she is so joyful and confident, and it leads one to think she is indeed pregnant and very pleased about it. Yet, she comes just short of saying that.

Fans will also remember when Janet canceled and rescheduled concerts around Christmas following a surgery. Some fans panicked thinking she had cancer, but in hindsight, could that incident have been related to this “family planning” announcement? Janet continues, saying the doctors have ordered her to rest.

Financially speaking, this couple’s child would never have to worry about money. Not only does Janet earn quite a bit from her career, the baby’s father is a billionaire. According to People Magazine, Jackson’s husband, Wissam Al Mana of Qatar, manages an empire of 55 companies. Al Mana has interests in fashion, media, and engineering. He also has a substantial portfolio of restaurants and real estate.

Wissam Al Mana lavishes his wife with everything she could possibly want, according to People. He adores her and says she is the fulfillment of his dreams. It is kind of obvious she loves him too, as he and Janet jet around the world together.

“I spend time with my wife. It’s a luxury. We love traveling… we love going to nice, exotic places far away from the world and from prying eyes, Over time, like anything in life, you find ways to master it and you learn how to do that.”

Janet Jackson’s husband, Wissam Al Mana, feels family is very important, and so is building the family business together. He believes family should work together side by side. It is the way he was raised. Janet is familiar with the concept of working together as part of the Jackson family as well. The child will have close ties to family on both sides. Al Mana says that after losing his father early in life, he was inspired by his dad’s passport.
