Janet Jackson Pregnant? Why Her Child Could Have A Fabulous Life Ahead
Janet Jackson’s fans are excited. One could speculate from her announcement that Janet is either pregnant or confident she will be soon. In the short video clip shown below, Janet explains the reason for canceling her tour, but fans want more details.
Janet Jackson tweeted a video announcement on April 6, that has fans guessing. Is she pregnant or still trying to conceive? Is it safe for her, considering her age? What are the risks? What will the baby’s life be like? What is the father, Wissam Al Mana, like? For answers, read on. One thing is almost certain, though: If Janet does have a baby, the child will have every advantage and be treasured by a huge extended family.
Janet Jackson Is Making This Baby A Top Priority
In the video above, Jackson explains the situation, but her enigmatic phrasing and her obviously joyful tone are slightly contradictory. It is as if she is being cautiously optimistic about something she feels certain about. Her smile says yes, but her words say maybe.
“There has actually been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”
Janet Jackson makes it clear there has been a “sudden change.” This could infer complications involving an existing pregnancy, suddenly discovering she is pregnant, or choosing the right time for IVF, but the word “sudden” lends to the idea this is something out of her direct control to schedule. Also, notice her smile during this part of the video; she is so joyful and confident, and it leads one to think she is indeed pregnant and very pleased about it. Yet, she comes just short of saying that.
Fans will also remember when Janet canceled and rescheduled concerts around Christmas following a surgery. Some fans panicked thinking she had cancer, but in hindsight, could that incident have been related to this “family planning” announcement? Janet continues, saying the doctors have ordered her to rest.
“Please, if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
The Child Could Be Called A Miracle Baby
Janet Jackson would be at a moderately high risk going into pregnancy because of her age. While she may appear to be 25, she is actually 49-years-old. In her favor, though, she is obviously in great shape physically. Pregnancy and childbirth are quite possible after 50. Author Judith S. Letterman became pregnant and gave birth to twins at age 53 with no complications despite being labeled as high-risk. She wrote an article detailing her pregnancy for Parent’s Magazine.
Still, doctors understand that pregnancy can be risky and that risk increases with age. It is important for Janet to take care of herself, and that means plenty of rest, good nutrition, and limiting her stress. None of that is likely to happen on the road with a world tour, so the doctor could ask Jackson to postpone performances if she is pregnant or even preparing to become pregnant.
This Baby Is Wanted By Both Parents
Janet Jackson wants to be pregnant. She has wanted a baby very badly for a long time. Through three marriages, Jackson has remained childless. E! Online reports quotes from Janet on potential motherhood from the past.
“And I think that if I’m really supposed to have kids, it will happen, if that’s God’s plan for me. You have to ask God, And once you ask Him, will you let me know what he says?
“I would love to, I would love to have a family, but it’s in God’s hands. So if it’s meant to be, it’ll happen. I hope it does.”
Janet wanted a baby, but it sounds like she was not planning to take matters into her own hands — using IVF, for example — and yet she could have changed her mind. Either way, fans should be equally happy for her.
Janet Jackson And Husband Wissam Al Mana Can Provide Wealth, Stability And A Loving Home
Financially speaking, this couple’s child would never have to worry about money. Not only does Janet earn quite a bit from her career, the baby’s father is a billionaire. According to People Magazine, Jackson’s husband, Wissam Al Mana of Qatar, manages an empire of 55 companies. Al Mana has interests in fashion, media, and engineering. He also has a substantial portfolio of restaurants and real estate.
Wissam Al Mana lavishes his wife with everything she could possibly want, according to People. He adores her and says she is the fulfillment of his dreams. It is kind of obvious she loves him too, as he and Janet jet around the world together.
“I spend time with my wife. It’s a luxury. We love traveling… we love going to nice, exotic places far away from the world and from prying eyes, Over time, like anything in life, you find ways to master it and you learn how to do that.”
Janet Jackson’s husband, Wissam Al Mana, feels family is very important, and so is building the family business together. He believes family should work together side by side. It is the way he was raised. Janet is familiar with the concept of working together as part of the Jackson family as well. The child will have close ties to family on both sides. Al Mana says that after losing his father early in life, he was inspired by his dad’s passport.
“My father passed away when I was quite young, and I felt that it was my duty to kind of pick up the flag and to continue the business, and try to continue the legacy and the family name. It’s in our blood, we’re merchants. When I was a child, I looked at my father’s passport and his occupation said ‘Merchant.’ I asked my mom, and she explained that we are merchants. We take pride in that, it’s our heritage.”
Will Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana’s baby grow up to become a merchant like dad or start a singing career like mom?
