General Hospital Spoilers: Lucy Coe And Robin Scorpio Return To Port Charles For Nurses Ball
General Hospital usually delivers during sweeps. They are a crucial time in the soap business, and the month of May has been a fan-favorite for quite some time. It was confirmed that the Nurses Ball will be returning for 2016. While that is good news for General Hospital fans, the list of returning characters for the festivities is even more exciting!
As of now, several General Hospital favorites are returning for the Nurses Ball in May. According to Daytime Confidential, General Hospital will be bringing back both Lynn Herring and Kimberly McCullough. It has been quite some time since Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has graced Port Charles. She recently voiced some distaste for General Hospital writers using her rarely, and not giving her a purposeful storyline. Rumors indicate that she may not only stick around for the Nurses Ball, but also for some other things. It was not made clear how long she was taping, but fans should expect a bit more of Lucy Coe than they are used to seeing.

Kimberly McCullough returning to General Hospital is a welcome surprise for some. Her on-again, off-again appearances have had fans divided for quite some time. Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) has strong ties to Port Charles, and she leaves things unfinished. Since she has such strong ties to HIV and the research, it makes sense for the General Hospital writers to bring her back for the Nurses Ball. There are still plenty of unanswered questions regarding what happened to Jason (Billy Miller) while he was being held by Helena (Constance Towers), and Robin may be helpful in filling in the blanks. It was confirmed that Patrick (formerly Jason Thompson) would not be returning with Robin, which isn’t surprising. It appears General Hospital isn’t willing to recast the role.

May sweeps is going to be explosive on General Hospital. The writers have already put storylines into motion, and many of them will carry over through and beyond the Nurses Ball. Rumors of someone getting shot have been rocking social media. Could it be Sonny (Maurice Benard) or Julian (William deVry)? They would both be obvious choices, but General Hospital fans aren’t easily settling for those options. As the weeks press on, things are going to get incredibly dangerous on the mob front.
The ABC network and General Hospital have already confirmed the dates for the Nurses Ball. It will air mid-week, which allows for the episodes to flow better. In previous years, the episodes have been expanded across a weekend, which left some feeling like the Nurses Ball had lost momentum. Aveeno is sponsoring the event again this year. There will be plenty of plugs for the product made by the General Hospital actors.
One of the most important parts of the General Hospital Nurses Ball has always been the entertainment. From song and dance numbers to the “Magic Milo” acts, the fans usually enjoy the performances. Several of the hottest actors participate in the hot “Magic Milo” number, and it has been confirmed that Drew Cheetwood would be reprising his role as Milo Giambetti for a short while. He is mentioned on General Hospital from time to time because he is dating Epiphany (Sonya Eddy), but is never shown. It was announced he would be exiting the show last September, but would be open for a reprisal if the time was right. It looks like the General Hospital Nurses Ball is a perfect time!
