WWE News: Wrestling Legend Says Card For ‘WrestleMania 32’ Is The Worst One Ever

Injuries have decimated the WWE roster in the past year, and it has greatly affected the card for numerous Pay-Per-View events and especially WrestleMania 32. Still, WWE has put together a card for tonight’s big event and have 11 confirmed matches set and ready to go. One wrestling legend isn’t really looking forward to it, though. Bret “HitMan” Hart has actually said that this year’s card is the worst one he’s ever seen.

Hart has never been one to keep his thoughts to himself, and that is especially true since finishing up his career. The man has been outspoken every single day of his life, and now he’s spoken out on how this year’s WrestleMania stacks up against the 31 that have come before it.

Frankly, he thinks it sucks, as he told Total Wrestling Magazine.

“I’m just being honest and I have to say that this year’s Wrestlemania card is the worst Wrestlemania card in history. I won’t be watching it, I couldn’t care less about it. The characters mean nothing, the titles mean nothing. I’m embarrassed by it.”

With stars such as John Cena, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Sting, and many others missing out due to injury or retirement, he’s not the only one with that opinion. Many have expressed their displeasure with this year’s card, but WWE could only work with what they had.

Bret “HitMan” Hart had a lot more to say, and it wasn’t just about the current product in WWE or who is in what matches at WrestleMania 32.

Hart also spoke about Roman Reigns and how WWE is using him. To be perfectly honest, he isn’t very complimentary in that regard either. As Wrestling Inc. reported, he was very negative about how WWE sees Reigns and thinks he’s being wasted.

“I think they have done an awful job of trying to get Roman Reigns over for WrestleMania and quite honestly they made their biggest mistake at this year’s Royal Rumble. They had the right idea by putting him in from the start and stacking the odds against him but they should have had him overcome all the obstacles by fighting bravely against all comers to eventually be the last man standing, but this whole idea where a whole bunch of Triple H’s goons come out, attack him and leave him for dead, having him stretchered out almost crippled only for him to limp out at the end to make a comeback, well we’ve been there, done that.”

The HitMan’s biggest problem is that WWE is trying to “force feed” Roman Reigns to the fans and hope that in time, they will just enjoy him. For two years now, though, they’ve tried to get that to happen and it just hasn’t worked.

Hart thinks Roman Reigns is a great talent, but he’s simply being wasted by WWE.

Yes, Hart’s words have been rather harsh and not everyone may agree with him that this year’s WrestleMania has the worst card ever. Still, he’s entitled to his opinion, and he’s been around long enough to state whatever comes to his mind.

The full and final card for WrestleMania 32 is as follows.

  • WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Triple H (c) vs. Roman Reigns
  • Divas Championship: Charlotte (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks
  • No Holds Barred Street Fight: Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar

  • Intercontinental Title Ladder Match: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Zack Ryder vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Sami Zayn vs. Stardust vs. The Miz vs. Sin Cara

Bret “Hitman” Hart may not think that this card for WrestleMania 32 is a good one, and he may find it to be the worst one ever. Still, there are around 100,000 people in Dallas who are filling up the arena to watch it happen live. There are millions more watching around the world. Some may not be pleased with Roman Reigns vs. Triple H for the WWE Title, but they’re going to be watching.
