Miranda Lambert Ready To Show Off New Boyfriend In Front Of Blake Shelton

Miranda Lambert has been keeping her new relationship with Anderson East on the down low for the past few months. She’s not acting like her ex-husband, Blake Shelton, who’s been showing off his hot new romance with Gwen Stefani. But it looks like Miranda is finally ready for a show-down with her ex.

According to TMZ, Lambert wants to get back at Shelton and Stefani by showing off her new boyfriend, Anderson East. Sources told the celebrity gossip site that Lambert has already “been parading around” the up-and-coming country singer at the Academy of Country Music Awards all weekend long. She’s even been introducing everyone to him as her “boyfriend,” which means the romance rumors are true.

The couple has been quietly dating for a few months. Miranda set off the dating rumors when she shared a cozy photo of herself with Anderson back in January. What makes things even more interesting is that both Miranda and Blake are scheduled to perform at the ACMs this Sunday. There’s also a chance that both of their significant others will be in the audience to cheer them on, unless Blake FaceTimes Gwen like she did prior to the 2015 American Music Awards.

Engagement rumors have also been swirling. According to recent reports, both Miranda Lambert and Gwen Stefani are engaged to be married for the second time. Both singers have announced their shocking divorces within weeks of each other in the summer of 2015. There’s been rumors that Stefani has proposed to Shelton, while Lambert has been getting very serious with her new boyfriend, as well.

An insider told Life & Style, via Hollywood Life, back in February that the couple have been discussing the possibility of marriage in the future. The source went on to say that Miranda wants to beat Gwen to the altar. Miranda is not over the fact that Gwen is dating her ex-husband and has been showing off their romance so soon after their divorce. The source said that “beating Gwen to the altar is a way for her to have the last laugh.”

As for Stefani’s rumored engagement, a source close to the pop star told People that it was Shelton who already popped the question. Stefani obliged, as she feels “blessed” by their relationship.

“Gwen thinks of Blake as the biggest blessing. They share both good life experience, like work, and bad ones, like their divorce.”

That’s certainly the case since Gwen Stefani released the song “Misery” off her new album, This is What the Truth Feels Like. In the song, she credits Shelton for helping her get over her heartbreak. Stefani also reveals that she’s addicted to the country crooner.

“You’re like drugs, you’re like drugs to me / I’m so into you totally / You’re like drugs, you’re like drugs to me / Drugs to me / So put me out of my misery / Hurry up come see me / Put me out of my misery / hurry up come see me,” she croons in her iconic voice.

In an interview with the New York Times, the former No Doubt front woman revealed that her new music is about “trying to take something that’s awful” and “turning it into something beautiful.”

Although sources claim that both Shelton and Stefani are not running down the aisle anytime soon and are just enjoying their relationship, their friends see a “long-term future” for the happy couple.

“They seem too perfect for each other for it to just be fluke. For now, they seem happy with their relationship, but Blake is old-fashioned and a future engagement seems very possible.”

Watch Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton at the 51st annual ACM Awards on Sunday, April 3, most likely with their new significant others Anderson East and Gwen Stefani, on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.
