Elton John Sexual Harassment Lawsuit Leads To Homophobic Remarks
On Monday, Elton John was sued for sexual harassment. TMZ has the news.
“Sir Elton John forced himself on a former security guard, grabbing the man’s genitals on multiple occasions… at least that’s the claim in a lawsuit just filed against Elton.”
TMZ adds that Jeffery Wenninger, the man who is suing Elton John, says Elton put his hands in Wenninger’s pants, attempted to grab his genitals, and put his fingers between Wenninger’s butt cheeks. Of course, Elton John hasn’t been actually charged yet, but the comments underneath the article are judgemental and even homophobic.
“Homosexuals never make consistently great people,” says commenter “BlownfuelCoupe.”
“This walking STD will soon succumb to all the germs he is carrying,” says Doc Holiday.
“‘This baseless lawsuit is brought by a disgruntled former security officer seeking to extract an undeserved payment,’ John’s attorney, Orin Snyder, tells PEOPLE in a statement. ‘These claims are patently untrue and contradicted by numerous previous statements made by this plaintiff. We will not give into his latest abuse of the legal system.'”
The comments underneath the article aren’t very sympathetic.
“That’s the problem with these wackos, they think everyone wants a d**ck shoved up their a**holes,” says Irnonman.
“He is abusing his power and fame, he should be locked up just like Bill Cosby!” says Ava.
Even an LGBT-oriented site such as Queerty isn’t sympathetic towards Elton.
“Move over John Travolta, there’s allegedly a new handsy queen in town. Sir Elton John was just served with a lawsuit from his former bodyguard, who claims the Rocket Man hitmaker sexually harassed him on several different occasions.”
Then, there are the comments…
“I totally believe Elton would do that. He is a vile old queen who thinks he can do anything,” claims Robho3.
“Maybe Elton can settle the case with the $1 million dollars Rush Limblah [sic] paid him to perform at his wedding. Flamboyant piece of s**t!” exclaims Black Pegasus.
Many on Twitter seem to think Elton is guilty and that he shouldn’t be protected just because he is a celebrity.

This latest lawsuit is the latest strike against Elton John, who has been accused of erratic behavior for the last several years. Last June, The Inquisitr reported that Elton John used the “C” word to describe an innocent steward who was working at one of his shows. Elton did feel bad; he invited the woman on stage and kissed her on the cheek.
One of Elton’s recent rants was aimed at Janet Jackson. Rolling Stone quotes Elton ripping on Jackson’s live show.
“You know, f*****g music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, ‘This is the greatest show – four and a half stars.’ It’s f****g lip-synced! Hello! That’s not a show! I’d rather go and see a drag queen. F**k off!” Elton angrily said.
This latest lawsuit could be the event that finally drives Elton John over the edge. However, it’s important to not make any judgements until the facts come in. It’s also important not to stereotype gay men purely on allegations against Elton John, who doesn’t represent all gay men in the first place.
