Donald Trump Threatens To ‘Spill The Beans’ On Heidi Cruz After Melania Nude Photo Surfaces

Donald Trump is threatening to “spill the beans” about Heidi Cruz. Trump’s Republican challenger, Ted Cruz, is livid about what he feels is a personal attack on his wife.

After the Western Tuesday GOP primary, where Ted Cruz bested Donald Trump in a majority of the states, the Heidi Cruz online warning was tweeted by the Republican front-runner.

It is not unusual for Trump to vent about his challengers on Twitter, but this is the first time the popular yet controversial outsider candidate went after the wife of a fellow Republican.

Donald Trump tweeted that Ted Cruz should “be careful” or he will “spills the beans on your wife,” CNN reports. The message was posted just moments before the primary polls closed in Arizona, where Trump was the victor by a wide margin. Exactly what “beans” Trump intends to spill remain unknown and has prompted a flurry of speculation online.

“Lyin’ Ted Cruz just used a picture of Melania from a G.Q. shoot in his ad. Be careful, Lyin’ Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!” Donald Trump tweeted after reportedly deleting a similar post about 10 minutes earlier.

The Melania Trump photo he referenced is reportedly an ad that was placed on Facebook and targeted to the massive Mormon community in Utah, a state that voted yesterday. Melania had posed in the nude in the photo spread. Ted Cruz stated that he had nothing to do with the Facebook ad, which was created by an anti-Trump super PAC called Make America Awesome. The PAC does not reportedly have any known connection to Cruz. Liz Mair is the co-founder of the PAC.

The Melania Trump ad shows the former model in the nude without revealing anything which would cast the image as R-rated.

“If Donald wants to get into a character fight, he’s better off sticking with me, because Heidi is way out of his league,” Cruz said during an interview with CNN on Wednesday morning after Trump’s tweet went viral.

Angered over the tweets by Donald Trump, Ted Cruz also took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the brewing controversy. The Texas Senator said if Trump went after his wife, he was a “coward.”

“Pic of your wife not from us. Donald, if you try to attack Heidi, you’re more of a coward than I thought. #classless,” the Cruz tweet said.

“Meet Melania Trump, your next First Lady – Or, you could support Ted Cruz on Tuesday,” the caption to Melania Trump nude photo read, the New York Daily News reports.

Heidi Cruz has been an active behind-the-scenes member of her husband’s campaign since taking a leave of absence from her position as a senior executive for Goldman Sachs. Mrs. Cruz is reportedly one of the best fundraisers for the campaign.

Early on in the Ted Cruz campaign for the White House, several media outlets referenced an episode allegedly involving Heidi along the side of the road in Austin. The incident reportedly occurred in 2005. Mrs. Cruz was allegedly found in a “confused” state and was deemed a “danger to herself.”

Heidi Cruz has never spoken publicly about the incident, but her husband referenced it just once when asked about the media reports. The Texas Senator said his wife was battling a “brief bout of depression” at that time.
