Jared Fogle: Angry Inmates Drop Bombshell Reason Explaining His Recent Beating Behind Bars

Jared Fogle has reportedly angered many of his fellow inmates for a number of reasons, and the problems are actually much worse than just his pedophiliac tendencies. As many Americans have probably heard, it’s not uncommon for pedophiles and child killers to face harsh treatment at the hands of other inmates while incarcerated. But, Jared Fogle has been beaten for more than obvious reasons.

Apparently, the Subway spokesperson has been receiving preferential treatment from prison staff and his level of entitlement ultimately led to the beating he endured. According to TMZ, inmates at the Englewood Correctional facility recently dropped a bombshell, revealing the reason behind Jared Fogle’s recent beatings. An insider has revealed prison staff reportedly met with inmates prior to Jared Fogle’s arrival and demanded that they refrain from bothering him as he completes his prison sentence. In a nutshell, Jared Fogle arrived as a “teacher’s pet.”

Needless to say, his sense of entitlement actually made him a target before he even arrived at the correctional facility. So, in addition to his criminal record, inmates were angered over the special treatment Jared Fogle would be receiving.

In fact, a relative of one of the inmates involved in the beatings has spoken out. According to the Washington Post, Jared Fogle was beaten by an inmate named Steven Nigg. It has been reported that the 60-year-old’s nephew, Jimmy Nigg, has spoken publicly about the incident to explain his uncle’s reason for attacking Jared Fogle, according to People magazine.

“He had to hit him. That’s how the whole thing started,” Jimmy Nigg, Steven Nigg’s nephew, told People. “He just can’t be around child molesters. He doesn’t like them.” He added: “He can’t figure out why you would do that to kids … He says, ‘I can’t be around those people.'”

Nigg went on to further explain the reason for his uncle’s animosity toward Jared Fogle. The fight, which occurred on Jan. 29, left Fogle with a “bloody nose, scratches to his neck and redness and swelling to his face,” according to the incident report obtained by New York Daily News.

“In his words, my uncle’s words, people convicted of these types of crimes, crimes against children, sexual predators, rapists, they shouldn’t be in a minimum-security prison,” Nigg told AZcentral.. “He felt like it wasn’t fair. [Fogle] gets to order any food he wants, he can use his money to do things. This guy is coming and prancing in like he can do anything he wants.”

Then, to make matters worse, Nigg has reportedly admitted that he’d attack him again. It has been reported that Nigg received solitary confinement for his actions, but he insisted that the beating was a form of justice for all of the abused children Jared Fogle violated. Although Jared has faced a number of problems since he arrived at Englewood Correctional facility, there are still rumors that the worse is yet to come.

According to the Daily Beast, his troubles are only beginning and the bloody nose he sustained from the physical altercation with Nigg is far from the end of his troubles because he also has other legal woes to deal with. One of Jared Fogle’s underage victims has filed a federal lawsuit seeking “at least $150,000” in damages since Fogle and his best friend, Russell Taylor, captured nude images of the 14-year-old victim with the use of surveillance cameras inside Indianapolis home.

Jared Fogle is also facing problems with his weight as a result of the prison sentence, but unfortunately, he won’t be participating in any highly publicized weight loss programs for mainstream commercials anytime soon.
