Watch Duke Vs. Yale Basketball Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video Link For 2016 NCAA Tournament

Fans can watch the Duke vs. Yale basketball game live online and see whether the Bulldogs can continue their unlikely run in the 2016 NCAA Tournament or whether the Blue Devils are primed for yet another deep March run.

The teams return to the hardwood on Saturday at 2:40 p.m. with CBS broadcasting the game and streaming video available online (links can be found below).

For the No. 12 Yale Bulldogs, the game is a chance for yet another upset victory. The Bulldogs knocked off No. 5 Baylor on Thursday, holding on for a 79-75 victory.

It was the first ever NCAA Tournament victory for Yale, making their first appearance in the tournament in 54 years.

“This was bigger than us, and we wanted to do it for all the Yale faithful out there,” senior Justin Sears said, via ESPN. “It’s great right now. I don’t think it’s really hit us how big this is yet.”

It was a surprise to many — less than 20 percent of ESPN brackets had the Bulldogs winning — but not to Yale’s players.

“The guys in this locker room have known,” Yale guard Nick Victor said. “People outside, they always thought we couldn’t win this one. We knew from the start that we could do this.”

Fans who watch the Duke vs. Yale basketball game live online will see a Blue Devils team that just survived a scare from No. 13 seed UNC-Wilmington. But Duke got a career-high 23 points from Marshall Plumlee in the 93-85 win — after he was held to four points in the first half.

Plumlee credits some encouragement from coach Mike Kryzyzewski with helping to turn him around.

“There’s no excuses for my play in the first half,” Plumlee said, via ESPN. “I’m grateful to have a coach that can bring out the best in me,” he said. “More than anything, I had teammates that played harder, teammates that gave me energy, and I fed off of that.”

Duke actually trailed 43-40 at halftime, but sparked a 14-3 run in the second half and got the Seahawks in foul trouble.

The game will be a rematch of a November matchup that the Blue Devils won 80-61. As the Washington Post noted, Yale struggled on offense in the first game, but Duke is now without Amile Jefferson.

“Yale should be able to not only take advantage of the offensive glass, a significant trouble spot for the Blue Devils, who are sieve-like at securing boards. And while Duke does press up on the perimeter, there could be significant opportunities for backdoor cuts from the Ivy Leaguers,” wrote Matthew Giles.

“This could be particularly advantageous for Makai Mason, who scored 31 points in the win over Baylor, and is adept creating off the bounce. According to Hoop-Math.com, just 17.0 percent of his shots within the arc in are assisted. As a whole, the team’s non-transition effective field goal percentage is just outside of the nation’s top 50 (51.8 percent). And the Bulldogs are not known to hurry their offense. It takes about 18 seconds for the squad to attempt a shot. That pace could limit the superior athleticism of Duke.”
