‘The Bachelor’: Lauren Bushnell Talks About Ben Saying ‘I Love You’ To JoJo

Millions tuned in last night to watch the final episode of The Bachelor. Ben’s decision was down to two women – Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher. He spent most of the show still not sure who he would propose to. But in a Bachelor finale that included both heartbreaking and romantic moments, he did make a choice.

What made this bachelor’s decision especially interesting is that he told both Lauren and JoJo that he loved them. It caused lots of conversations among his family and Bachelor viewers about whether or not it’s possible to love two people at once and whether or not he did the right thing by telling both ladies “I love you.”

Bachelor Ben did make a choice between Lauren and JoJo, and now some are wondering how each feels about those three little words being said to them both. It’s possible that until the Bachelor finale ended, neither Lauren nor JoJo knew that he had said it to the other woman. Now that they do know, how do they feel? One of them spoke to Good Morning America about it. Us Magazine has reported what Lauren had to say.

If you haven’t watched The Bachelor finale and don’t know who Higgins chose and don’t want to know yet, stop reading now.

If you’re still here, we’re assuming you know who our bachelor chose. In case you’d like to see the moment again, here you go.

So, imagine you’re Lauren Bushnell and you’re curled up on the couch with your fiancee (you won!) watching The Bachelor finale, and you see this.

What do you do? How do you feel? We all want to know. And Good Morning America asked. Us Magazine filled us in in case we missed it.

Bushnell says that as she watched The Bachelor finale, she knew before it actually happened that it was a possibility. And bachelor Ben told Lauren before last night’s broadcast about his feelings for JoJo. Bushnell seems to be trying to just move on from it all, as she admitted that she didn’t watch much of the show that involved her beau and the other girls on The Bachelor.

“I think having to relive things that have happened … and to also have a million different opinions about it [was the most difficult]. But he laid everything out for me. I’ve seen bits and pieces … I’ve watched mostly just our parts because that’s obviously so nice to relive. I don’t think it’s necessary to relive the other parts.”

The Bachelor relationships don’t have a great record, but things seem to be going well for Bushnell and Higgins. We’re hoping they remain happy and in love. Bushnell has plans to move to Denver in a couple of weeks to be with Higgins. Relieved that The Bachelor finale has aired and their engagement is public, Bushnell and Higgins are relieved that they can now begin a “normal” relationship, or as close to it as they can have. They haven’t even been able to eat out together, because bachelor Ben’s choice had to be kept a secret until The Bachelor finale aired. They probably won’t eat breakfast out much, though, as Ben indicated that Bushnell makes breakfast sandwiches that are to die for. Regarding mornings, Lauren says the former bachelor is a morning person. Her? Not so much.

The Bachelor’s Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins have plenty to learn about each other based on the results of a game they played on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. Check it out.
