‘Real Housewives Of New York’ Adds Julianne Wainstein — Everything We Know About The Bravo Newbie

The Real Housewives of New York has officially added Julianne “Jules” Wainstein as its newest cast member in the upcoming season. Based on trailer for Season 8, Wainstein is going to bring her own flair and drama to the hit series. From her personality traits to an inside look at her personal life, here’s everything we know about RHONY’s newest lady.

According to Buddy TV, Wainstein has a background in fashion and event planning, both of which she is expected to showcase in the new season. Wainstein attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, which also happens to be the same school where Ramona Singer studied. She currently works as an event planner for Women’s International Zionist Organization.

Wainstein’s devotion to the Women’s International Zionist Organization, which helps women and elderly people in Israel, is a reflection of her upbringing. Wainstein identifies as both Japanese and Jewish and claims to be a kind of “modern Orthodox.”

Along with raising money for her organization, Wainstein also likes to host events for her own family. This includes a recent party she organized for her daughter, which featured a Brazilian circus theme complete with dancers, candy stations, and monkeys.

Apart from promoting her own family, Wainstein recently sat down with the New York Post and revealed that she is not one to shy away from the spotlight. In fact, she’s just the opposite and is looking forward to being at the center of attention on the next season of the Real Housewives of New York.

“I love attention,” she told the outlet. “Imagine having your hair and makeup professionally done all the time, and then people, like, staring at you through a lens. It’s fun.”

Dorinda Medley talks Sonja Morgan

Although she is a newcomer on the reality series, Wainstein does has a connection with Dorinda Medley, whom she considers a friend on the show. In fact, it was Medley who introduced Wainstein to Bravo producers, who then decided to bring her on board the project.

“She called me up one day, and she was like, ‘Would you be interested in being a Housewife?’ For me, it was kind of perfect timing,” Wainstein explained. “I kind of get high off of taking risks. So I couldn’t say no.”

Speaking of her time on the show, Reality Tea is reporting that fans can expect Wainstein to show off her true colors throughout the season. This includes some of her more extravagant tendencies, one of which is the fact that she didn’t wear the same clothes more than once during production.

“Everyone says, ‘Just be real, just be you,'” Wainstein shared.

While she may get along just fine with Medley, it might take Wainstein a little while to adjust to the various personalities on the show. In the trailer for the new season, which can be viewed on Hollywood Life, Wainstein is thrown right into the mix as the drama heats up between the ladies.

“Jules is not like us. She’s still hopeful and kind,” Medley explained to Bethenny Frankel in the clip.

“Well we’re going to ruin that,” Frankel responded.

That being said, it appears as though LuAnn de Lesseps might be Wainstein’s biggest opponent in the new season. In fact, the newcomer has already voiced her opinion about de Lesseps and didn’t exactly hold back on her thoughts, calling the countess the “biggest diva” on the series.

“She has a strong personality,” Wainstein stated. “So you expect it.”

Fans can watch the drama unfold between Wainstein and the rest of the cast members when the eighth season of The Real Housewives of New York returns to television April 6 on Bravo.
