Mega Millions Winning Numbers And Winners March 8, Jackpot Won, Reset To $15 Million, Watch Live Drawing Video
The last Mega Millions drawing was held on March 8, and there was a jackpot winner! Last night’s winning numbers are 27, 37,54,66,69, and the Mega Ball is 5. The Mega Millions megaplier is 5x. Because there was a lucky grand-prize winner, the jackpot has reset to $15 million. In addition to the jackpot winner, there was a match 5 winner who used the megaplier and won $5 million. The official Mega Millions website released a statement regarding the jackpot winner.
“The Mega Millions jackpot was won Tuesday night, as a single ticket sold in the state of Washington matched all six numbers drawn: the white balls 27, 37, 54, 66 and 69, plus the Mega Ball 5. The lucky ticket-holder will take home a jackpot estimated at $157 million ($102 million cash).”
“It is Washington’s fourth Mega Millions jackpot winner and its first since January 2011. The jackpot had been rolling since last won in New York on January 8.”
“Also Tuesday night, there were two Match 5 winning tickets sold, one in California and one in Ohio. The Ohio ticket included the optional Megaplier, which turned that prize into $5 million after the 5x Megaplier was drawn.”
“The jackpot resets to $15 million for Friday’s draw.”
The Powerball jackpot was won on March 2 and reset to $40 million for the next drawing. Now that both Powerball and Mega Millions’ jackpots have recently been won, many are excited to see how large they will roll before the next jackpot winners are revealed.
