Drake To Blame For Rihanna And Travis Scott’s Split? Fans Weigh In On Breakup And Feud Rumors
Drake and Rihanna may be heating up dating rumors following the release of their new single, “Work,” but is the duo’s latest collaboration causing tension between Rihanna and Travis Scott?
Just weeks after Rihanna and Drake sparked romance rumors following the release of their dual “Work” music videos and steamy Brit Awards performance, Travis Scott has been dropping hints suggesting that Drake is to blame for his reported split from Rihanna.
Rihanna and Travis first ignited dating rumors last year after the duo were spotted getting cozy at Rihanna’s New York Fashion Week bash in September. Just days later, sources close to Rihanna and Scott confirmed the duo’s romance to E! Online, telling the site, “Travis and Rihanna are dating, officially. It’s already very serious. He’s very into her.”

While neither Rihanna nor Travis Scott personally confirmed the dating reports, the duo later fueled romance speculation after it was revealed that Scott was serving as a producer on Rihanna’s eighth studio album, Anti, which dropped last month after several reported delays.
In fact, songwriter Glass John, who helped pen “Kiss It Better” for Rihanna’s Anti album, went on to accuse Travis Scott of delaying the release of Rih’s album back in December, telling fans via Twitter that he was “fighting to get ‘Kiss It Better’ to the world… But Travis Scott has been delaying it,” Billboard reports.
Similarly, Travis Scott appeared to only further the dating reports between himself and Rihanna after he referred to the “B**** Better Have My Money” singer as his “muse” during an interview with Complex for the magazine’s December/January cover story.
Despite the backlash surrounding Rihanna and Travis Scott’s rumored romance, Scott was announced as a guest on the U.S. leg of Rihanna’s upcoming “Anti World Tour,” which kicks off next weekend in Jacksonville, Florida.
Now, it appears that there may be some growing tension between Drake and the “Mamacita” rapper after Travis took to Snapchat to reportedly threaten Drake following speculation that Rihanna and the “Hotline Bling” rapper may be getting back together.
Several screengrabs of Travis Scott’s alleged diss on Drake began to emerge on Twitter last weekend, in which the rapper refers to Drake as the “6God” while simultaneously mocking his “Work” collab with Rihanna.

“6God gotta werk werk MORE,” Travis Scott began his Snapchat series before adding, “F*** 6GOD,” Brand New Hip Hop reports.
“Bout to pull a Chris brown on this n****,” Scott continued, appearing to reference Chris Brown and Drake’s longstanding feud that began after Drake heated up dating rumors with Rihanna following her breakup with Brown in 2013.
Travis concluded his Snapchat series with some advice to Drake, revealing, “She wants the flame not no emotional n****!!”
While Travis Scott’s Snapchat claims have already ignited speculation suggesting that Drake “stole” Rihanna from the Rodeo rapper, sources close to Rihanna previously revealed that it was Travis’ neediness that led Rihanna to break things off with Scott last year.
“[Travis] wanted her every second of the day and even wanted her to travel with him for his show,” a source close to Rihanna explained to Urban Islandz, “While all the need for her attention is flattering it eventually became too much for her to handle. He is just too needy so she broke things off with him.”
Despite growing claims of a rekindled romance between Rihanna and Drake, Rihanna recently dodged the dating claims during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres last month, telling the television host that she’s too busy for a serious relationship, albeit noting that she would “love to go on tour with Drake” in the future, Billboard confirms.
