‘The Bachelor’ Cast-Off Caila Quinn To Be The Next ‘Bachelorette’?

On the latest episode of The Bachelor, things got physical — in a good way — for the three remaining women, Caila Quinn, JoJo Fletcher, and Lauren Bushnell, who all got to enjoy a romantic evening followed by an overnight stay with Ben Higgins in Jamaica. However, the much-anticipated fantasy suite episode also saw one contestant go home, but for her it seems she hasn’t lost everything. If ABC continues the tradition of selecting a runner-up to be the face of The Bachelorette, then many believe that Caila Quinn should be the leading lady.

Us Weekly reports that Caila spent her last night with Ben on what was supposed to be a romantic tropical ride through a murky river, but apparently the date was more awkward than anything else. The two could carry on a conversation, with Ben taking notice that maybe Caila isn’t the right woman.

“She’s beautiful, but Caila sometimes has a tendency to withdraw, and it makes me nervous that maybe we’re more distant than I really expected or thought we were,” Ben told cameras.

Of course, Caila admitted to Ben later on that she was off that day because of the fact that two other women are still in the race to win his heart. But the evening dinner went smoother than the river ride, eventually prompting Caila to tell Ben that she loves him, although he offered a kiss as his response not an “I love you too.”

As for the other two ladies, JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell, in dramatic rule-breaking fashion, after each of their respective dates with Ben led to “I love yous” from each lady, Ben responded with much more than a kiss. In fact, he told both of them that he loves them too.

In the end, it was JoJo and Lauren who got the final two roses, with Caila getting the axe. Even though she fell to pieces, the Daily Mail reveals a future on TV past The Bachelor isn’t that far fetched.

According to Bustle, Caila is the leading lady to land the role ahead of both Bachelor finalists JoJo and Lauren. But why is she ahead of the competition for The Bachelorette?

For one, she is looking for love. That much has been obvious since viewers first met her on The Bachelor. She wants to find a man to marry and wants a family to raise, which, of course, should be the number one priority for any lady named The Bachelorette.

Of course, the two ABC love quests are different, but if one thing can be said about Caila, it’s that she believes in more than just traditional ways of finding love and that finding that special person to say “I do” to is possible via a TV show.

Another great quality that makes Caila the perfect match for The Bachelorette is her genuine display of emotion. Whether the cameras were pointed at her or not, Caila was always open and honest, sometimes that meant a lot of crying, but it also meant that she wasn’t affected by what people watching would say about her.

And of course, you can’t have a Bachelorette show without drama, and with an emotional and straightforward character such as Caila running the show, the drama would practically write itself.

Along with being beautiful and having terrific hair, perhaps the biggest and most important trait to obtaining the title of The Bachelorette is believing that somewhere inside the room full of handpicked guys, the man you will call husband and spend the rest of your life with awaits. And after making it to the final three contestants on this year’s Bachelor, it’s obvious that Caila believes anything is possible when it comes to finding true love.
