Ben Affleck Fuming Over Jennifer Garner’s ‘Vanity Fair’ Interview, ‘Worried How It’ll Affect The Children’

Ben Affleck is said to be fuming over Jennifer Garner’s recent interview with Vanity Fair, in which the actress famously discusses the downfall of her crumbling marriage.

The interview, which came as a shock to the couple’s fans, seemed long overdue, considering the endless media scandals that followed after the two announced their divorce last summer. Yet, despite having only spoken positively of her estranged husband, Ben Affleck sees things differently.

The aging Hollywood star is said to be furious over the fact that Jennifer brought up their former nanny, Christine Ouzounian, who was alleged to have had an ongoing affair with Affleck during his marriage to Garner.

In her interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer stresses that her ex couldn’t have cheated on her with Christine since the duo had already separated at the time of the scandals. This evidently gives the impression and the insinuation that the “affair” might have happened, but it was after Garner and Affleck had already gone their separate ways.

Ben feels betrayed by Jennifer for even talking about it, worrying that his three children will read the interview in years to come and have a completely different perception of their beloved father. If anything, Affleck and Garner’s goal has been to protect the kids from the media, and Ben seems to think that Jennifer has completely gone against her words, painting him as a confused husband who appears to be very flawed in his actions.

“The Vanity Fair interview sent him and his team over the edge. He feels like she completely attacked him and can’t believe she confirmed the nanny affair story,” one source tells Radar Online, making it known that Ben Affleck was blindsided by the subliminal attacks.

Garner famously went on to tell the magazine that Ouzounian wasn’t completely responsible for her marriage collapsing, which strongly hints at the idea that the former nanny played a significant role in Jennifer’s decision to call it quits with her husband of 10 years.

“It was a passive aggressive move. She basically confirmed he slept with the nanny and he’s a d**k, but she still loves him,” the source concludes, affirming that Ben Affleck is incredibly embarrassed by Jennifer’s comments, for she has more or less confirmed the majority of reports that had circulated in the last seven months regarding the couple’s downfall.

As Affleck gears up to promote his new movies, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Live by Night, Ben is said to be hoping that the media attention around his collapsed marriage will die out sooner rather than later, in the hopes of promoting his films without having to be reminded of the mistakes he has made in the last 12 months.

Jennifer Garner confesses to Vanity Fair that Affleck was the love of her life, adding that she always imagined herself dancing with Ben at their daughter’s wedding. She has accepted the fact that it will never happen now that the couple has split, adding that while she still deeply cares for the A-list actor, Ben is a very complicated person whose focus no longer revolved around their marriage.
