Khloe Kardashian Details ‘Humiliating’ James Harden Split & Drops Bombshell On Rekindling Lamar Odom Romance
Khloe Kardashian has become increasingly candid about her feelings toward Lamar Odom since his release from the hospital. Khloe remained by his side during the terrifying weeks that followed the October discovery of his unconscious body in a brothel after an overdose. But now that Lamar is on his way to recovery, Kardashian is ready to dish about her estranged husband, including the possibility of remarrying him, reported People.
The couple made their first public appearance since his overdose at Kanye West’s Madison Square Garden fashion show in New York City, and Khloe admits that she was anxious and protective.
“I did not want him to really go to New York. It’s scary,” declared Kardashian.
“It meant so much to Lamar,” revealed Kardashian. “And I thought it was so dope of Kanye to want to walk out with Lamar. And just that feeling for Lamar to do that on his own.”
Khloe also marveled at the “unbelievable” improvement that Odom has experienced.
“About a month and a half ago, he wasn’t even walking. Now he’s walking on his own in Madison Square Garden,” gushed Kardashian.
But several questions have risen around the relationship that Khloe and Lamar have maintained. First, can Kardashian forgive him for the fact that he was discovered in a brothel after taking drugs, as well as his infidelity during their marriage? And second, is there a chance that the two could rekindle their romance and renew their marriage vows?
When it comes to forgiveness, Khloe contends that there’s a difference between his character and the problems that he has.
“I know what a great man Lamar is and what a beautiful heart he has, but sometimes he has greater demons, that has nothing to do with his character or what a beautiful person he is. There’s certain times that people deserve your sympathy.”
As for rekindling their romance, the reality TV star turned TV talk show host recently confessed on Kocktails with Khloé that she is open to a reconciliation.
“That would be like the best dream,” Kardashian summed up.
Khloe also discussed how she feels about the marriage vows that she and Odom took, reported the Daily Mail.
“We are not back together,” emphasized Kardashian. “I love him with every fiber of my being. I didn’t want for our divorce to happen, but it happened, but I still believe in my vows of being there for him.”
“When you break up in the public eye, it’s almost like you have to go through it twice: privately and publicly,” pointed out Khloe. “I’ve been there, for sure, and it’s hard. You could be having a fight that you don’t necessarily want your family or friends to know about, and then all of a sudden it’s like the whole world knows your business.”
Kardashian revealed that she wanted to maintain her privacy, but instead found her split from James documented in tabloid headlines.
“It’s humiliating,” summed up Khloe. “There’s so much that you want to keep private, just for the sake of your own pride, and when details get out to the tabloids or whatever, it’s like pouring salt into an open wound. It definitely makes it hard to close that chapter of your life.”
Kardashian shared on her talk show that Harden was unfaithful to her after discussing a monogamous relationship.
“I just don’t want to put up with people that, you wanna be monogamous but then you’re not monogamous,” declared Khloe. “He wanted to be committed, then, wasn’t committed… and I got the receipts to prove it.”
