‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Stacy Haiduk’s Stint Over–What Does that Mean For Christian’s Big Reveal?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease big drama is ahead for the residents of Genoa City. Soap Opera Digest reported that Stacy Haiduk (the actress who plays Patty Williams) latest stint on the CBS daytime drama is over. So, what does that mean for the big Christian reveal? Is it possible the writers will drag it out until May to reveal that Sully’s true identity is Christian?

Stacy Haiduk’s latest stint on The Young and the Restless is over; however, Patty will return (she always does!) at a later time. It is highly likely that Patty will return for May Sweeps, just in time to reveal everything she knows about Sully’s true identity. For someone who isn’t completely lucid most of the time, Patty sure put the pieces together and figured out that Sully is Christian.

Patty figured out early on that Sharon was not expecting a child, and that Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) was giving her hallucinogens to make her believe she was indeed pregnant. Patty was determined to escape Fairview to reach Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) so he could save Sharon from the shady doctor’s scheme. Patty was too late–Dr. Anderson had already kidnapped Sage Newman’s (Kelly Sullivan) child and was in the process of handing the child over to Sharon.

The Young and the Restless revealed that Patty figured it out and eventually confronted the shrink about her involvement in taking Sage’s child. The confrontation resulted in Dr. Anderson’s death, and at the moment, we are led to believe that Patty killed the therapist. In May sweeps (or whenever Patty returns), the actual murder of Dr. Anderson will likely be addressed and clarified.

The Young and the Restless head scribe, Chuck Pratt, Jr. revealed that Christian would soon be returned to his (rightful) mother. Of course, that means that Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) will lose custody and be forced to hand the babe over to Sage. Sharon believes that her family is complete with her new addition, so when it comes out that the baby isn’t biologically her child–one can expect Sharon to come unglued.

The Young and the Restless fans feel that it is unfair to Dylan to lose yet another child. If you remember, he thought Connor was his child, only to discover he was Adam Newman’s (Justin Hartley) son. Avery Clark (Jessica Collin) had a miscarriage. Sully will be his third child he will lose and second child he loses to Adam Newman. It seems unfair to give Dylan such a heartache when other characters have four or five children. Doesn’t Dylan deserve some happiness?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sage will be over the moon excited when she learns that her son is alive. It seems like a given she will be anxious to bring him to live with her and make up for lost time. Sharon, of course, is headed for a breakdown (again) and likely will take up residence at Fairview. Maybe, she will run into Patty (again) and they can share Dr. Anderson stories and bond. At any rate, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will learn that he isn’t Christian’s father. Sharon and Dylan will be devastated to learn they will have to hand the baby over to Sage. This storyline has heartache written all over it — from start to finish.

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Sharon’s family will be devastated when they have to explain to Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) that not only is Sully not Sharon’s child, but he isn’t really Nick’s child either. Faith will lose a brother and gain a cousin — a concept that is extremely difficult for a child her age to understand. Soap Central teases that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) may let it slip out to Sage that Adam paid the technician to change the paternity results. The new will send Sage in reeling as she worries that Nick will find out and want to end their fragile marriage.
