Is A Kylie Jenner Spinoff Coming Soon? Kendall Jenner May Be Left Out

Kylie Jenner and her older sister, Kendall, have reported been in talks for a Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff, much like Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons, but according to a new report, Kylie Jenner isn’t willing to share the spotlight.

“[Kylie Jenner] wants her own spin-off show [and] no longer wants to do one with Kendall,” a source told Radar Online on February 25.

Previously, the two women, who’ve been seen for years on their family’s reality show, were planning to star in the potential series as a duo, but after rumors of a feud between them, much of which was seen during the recently-aired 11th season, the source claims Kylie Jenner wants a solo series.

“[Kylie Jenner] just wants to have a show on E! that is all about her, that will focus mainly on her journey of building her own empire,” the insider explained.

In addition to her clothing line with Kendall, Kendall & Kylie, Kylie Jenner recently launched her own lip kits, which have seen massive success with her fans, leading the product to be completely sold out. Meanwhile, Kendall continues to be at the top of her game in the world of modeling, and earlier this month, she appeared in a number of runway shows during London Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and New York Fashion Week.

News of Kylie Jenner’s feud with her older sister first surfaced in November, around the time Season 11 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered. As the two bickered on screen about everything from their clothes to Kylie Jenner’s troubled relationship with rapper Tyga, a report surfaced claiming Kendall simply couldn’t stand Kylie Jenner’s friends.

While the two girls used to run in the same circles, they seem to have grown more distant with one another in recent years. As Kylie Jenner’s time is spent mainly with her boyfriend, Kendall Jenner is often seen with her model friends, including Gigi Hadid and Hailey Baldwin.

“[Kylie Jenner] and Kendall run with such completely different crowds and Kendall really feels that mixing their two lives into one is going to be near-impossible,” an insider told Radar Online in November. “Simply put, most of her friends cannot stand to be around Kylie’s crowd… Kendall’s model friends actually refer to her younger sister’s friends as ‘ratchet fame wh***s!'”

In the same report, it was noted that the distance between Kylie Jenner, as well as Kendall’s negative feelings about Kylie Jenner’s friends, had led Kendall to rethink her part in their possible spinoff.

“Kendall is just not having it anymore!” the insider said at the time.

In addition to their personal problems, Kendall felt Kylie Jenner’s spinoff plan was always about furthering her own career, not spending more time with Kendall or featuring their relationship on-screen.

“She does not want to be a part of this spin-off because [Kylie Jenner] is trying to make it all about her,” the source said. “More and more, she thinks that Kylie’s complete intent with this is to turn it into the ‘Kylie show guest-starring Kendall.'”

Kylie Jenner and her sister’s main issue throughout Season 11 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians appeared to be due to her relationship with Tyga, and although there have been numerous cheating claims made against Tyga (and he’s also losing his home in the Hollywood Hills), Kylie Jenner remains dedicated to their relationship.
