Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson Courting Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez For Pop Super-Teams?

It seems it’s not just Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson who have been doing some writing. Harry Styles is apparently writing for Ariana Grande, who recently split professionally from Scooter Braun, the manager she shared with Justin Bieber for a time, as reported by Teen Vogue.

The revelation came from the lips of singer Meghan Trainor, who also gushed about how talented Harry is and how well he will do in Hollywood.

Yes, you heard right — apparently Meghan said “Hollywood.” Could Harry have revealed to Meghan — for whom he is apparently also penning tracks — that he will be pursuing that long-rumored acting career, after all?

The news that Harry is writing for Ariana this month came as an especially big surprise, given that the petite singer is promoting recently-finished material. Harry first wrote for Ariana back in 2014, according to the Daily Mail, and it looks like the impressed songstress has decided to hook Harry in for her fourth album, which may not be released until 2017.

Perhaps the “Focus” singer and Harry have bonded over the ins-and-outs of management-hopping. Like Ariana, Harry Styles ditched his longtime team at Modest Management recently and is now managed by his close friend Jeffrey Azoff, the son of industry veteran Irving Azoff.

What sort of songs will Harry write for Ari? Harry’s own voice may shine on gritty rock songs, but from a writing perspective Harry has shown that his strengths perhaps lie in writing beautiful ballads — the heartfelt piano ballad “If I Could Fly” was one of the highlights of One Direction’s Made In The A.M. album, and was written by Styles. It would be great to hear Ariana singing something like that from Harold’s pen, perhaps hitting the silky yet yearning tones she delivered in the beautiful “Why Try” from the 2014 My Everything album.

The news follows reports that Harry’s One Direction brother Liam Payne will be writing for Jennifer Lopez during the band’s hiatus, as reported by The Sun.

LIAM PAYNE didn’t stay unemployed for long following ONE DIRECTION’s hiatus – he’s been hired to work on new music for none other than JENNIFER LOPEZ.

That’s right. Wolverhampton’s finest’s new boss is the original bootyshaker from the Bronx after the pair hit it off at a business meeting in LA.

It’s not just Ariana and Meghan that Harry is supporting. The singer took time out on Instagram today to congratulate stylist and rumored fling Lou Teasdale on her appearance in Grazia.

And what of Louis Tomlinson? Reports suggest that the Doncaster hearththrob is also back in the studio and may have selected three of the four or five girls he is looking for to form a girl band under his label within Simon Cowell’s Syco.

Louis and Simon apparently want to find four or five girls who all play instruments, and who are “pretty cool,” and get them to form a band, because nothing like that really exists right now.

When the photo of Louis with some young female musicians surfaced, people wondered if Louis and Simon’s band was three-quarters of the way there.

Later, a big new piece of Louis news hit the headlines. Louis’ sister Lottie, who interned with Lou Teasdale as One Direction’s stylist, has apparently been hired to do Selena Gomez’s hair and makeup on her upcoming tour.

Fans observed that Louis followed Selena on Twitter soon after. Wouldn’t it be amazing if the One Direction star and the former Disney actress worked together as well, now that they are professionally linked through Lottie?

A new “ship” is already in full swing.

If the One Direction guys keep this activity up, the hiatus will definitely remain full of news for fans of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.
