Kaley Cuoco?? Doing Better After Ryan Sweeting Divorce, She Reveals On ‘Ellen’

Kaley Cuoco?? says that life after divorce from tennis player Ryan Sweeting was rough, but has gotten much easier, according to USA Today. The Big Bang Theory actress recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and told the talk show host that she is “in a much better place than [she] was.”

Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting were married in a New Year’s Eve ceremony at a ranch in Santa Susana, California, on December 31, 2013. The couple was engaged after only dating for three months. But after nearly 21 months of marriage, the couple announced their divorce. Kaley certainly didn’t seem proud of the fact that their marriage was so short when she appeared on Ellen.

“Last year was very bizarre, and we all go through really weird ups and downs,” Cuoco told Ellen. “I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015. You know, it’s been rough, but things are going good. I’m much, much better now. I’m in a much better place than I was.”

Along with the divorce, Kaley was also going to have to make some changes to the tattoo she had on her back. Why? Well, because the ink commemorated her wedding date, and since she is no longer married, having a tattoo like that on her back would be pretty un-meaningful. So, in November of 2015, Cuoco shared pictures of her getting the tattoo removed on her Instagram page. She couldn’t actually get it removed, but instead, simply had it covered up. “The tattoo was, yeah, a mistake,” she told DeGeneres. “Had to cover it.”

Kaley Cuoco?? noted that the only reason she got a tattoo of a moth was because it was large enough to cover up the previous tattoo.

“The significance is, it was big enough to cover the numbers,” revealed Cuoco, which garnered a big laugh from the audience. “You know, big wings!… It’s just what I picked out when I was there.”

Kaley Cuoco also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about making it to 200 episodes with The Big Bang Theory, which the cast has already filmed. Cuoco revealed that she and Johnny G went up into the audience and began crying while they were talking with audience members. In comparison, Ellen joked that her show has been going for 13 years and that they film episodes everyday as opposed to just once a week.

“So if I did the math right, that’s like twice as many,” Cuoco said referring to the amount of episodes Ellen has filmed. “It’s 2,000 episodes,” Ellen quipped, “it’s okay.” When asked how the actress feels watching earlier episodes of the show on syndication, Kaley replied by saying she often cries at the memories, as well as “some of the decisions on my hair” and “some questionable clothes.” But she calls the cast her family and she is immensely proud of the success of the show.

Kaley Cuoco and Sam Hunt were seen together at the Grammy’s earlier this month, talking with one another, and this, of course, was enough to create headlines questioning if the two were secretly dating. She pretty much denied any such rumors while speaking with Extra‘s Charissa Thompson, at a party at Vibiana in Los Angeles on Saturday night. She went to say that her life isn’t as exciting as tabloid headlines would have you believe, and if that if she were to be seen walking out the horse stable at her home every day, “they would say I’m marrying my horse!”

Episode 200 of The Big Bang Theory airs on February 25 on CBS.
