Kenya Moore Blames Phaedra Parks For Convo On Kim Fields’ Husband, Adds Many Women Marry Their Gay Best Friends

Kenya Moore is placing the blame on Phaedra Parks when it comes to the subject of Kim Fields’ husband’s sexuality becoming a topic of conversation on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In her latest blog post, posted on Wednesday, Kenya said that it was Phaedra who first started talking about Kim’s husband, Christopher Morgan.

Kenya pointed out that it was Phaedra who first said some questionable things about Chris.

“I find it crazy that some viewers believe I started the discussion about Kim’s husband. WRONG. It was Phaedra. Phaedra stated he ‘was zesty’ and ‘had a fire in his pants.’ From there, each girl clearly stated that they saw questionable behavior from him (with the exception of Cynthia).”

Kenya revealed that the women were talking about Chris because of how he behaved with some of them earlier in the day, “snapping his fingers in their faces, yelling at them being rude and ‘reading them’ during their bus ride home from Jamaica.” According to Kenya, Chris was so “obnoxious” that he later apologized to the women.

As she said in the episode, Kenya wrote in her blog that there have been rumors regarding Chris’ sexuality for more than 10 years. She added that the rumors are all over the internet and there must be a reason for the rumors.

“Collectively, we all saw signs of his dual personality which prompted the discussion about him at all and hence the prevalent gay rumors pre-dating the show. The gay rumors have been around for over 10 years. Anyone can google it — no one made them up. They exist for a reason true or not. Therefore, for me to mention the gay rumors were completely justified within the conversation.”

Kenya ended her blog by stating that she doesn’t care if someone’s spouse is gay and that a lot of women marry their gay best friends.

“I could not care less if a man married to another woman is gay or straight — that’s between two consenting adults…Many women marry their best friends who are often gay, and it works for them.”

Kenya Moore’s critics will likely point out that Kenya, by stating in her blog that many women marry their gay best friends, is once again fueling speculation that Kim Field’s husband is gay. They will also likely point out that the clip of the discussion shows that Phaedra Parks actually told the other women that Chris is “head strong and a little sassy.” Is Phaedra describing Chris in such a way equivalent to Kenya later saying that people in Hollywood have called him “Chrissy” for years, that he may be an actress rather than an actor, and that he “can only suppress that urge for so long?”

In their interviews recapping the episode, Phaedra said that Chris “definitely has a little fire in his fireplace” while Kenya said that that “pervasive” rumors about “Tootie and Fruitee or Kim and Chrissy” have existed for the past 10 years.

In her own blog post, posted on Tuesday, Phaedra Parks maintained that her comments about Chris had nothing to do with his sexuality.

“Chris is a very nice man who, as far as I can tell, is a good husband and father. My comments were not based on his sexuality but instead the witty bantering that he and I always enjoy when we are together.”

It doesn’t seem as if Christopher Morgan is letting the rumors get him down. On Sunday, he posted a photo of himself kissing Kim and declaring that “marriage matters.” As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Chris has also posted a message about staying positive in the face of “jokers.”

A preview for Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta shows Kim Fields fighting back a bit upon learning, from Sheree Whitfield, what was said about her husband. After some coaching from NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks, who told her that she has to kill some rattle snakes by chopping their heads off, Kim told Kenya Moore to not talk about her and her family.

“Congratulations for being able to speak for yourself,” Kenya retorted back.
