Kylie Jenner Officially Signed To Puma: Read Kanye West’s Reaction

Kylie Jenner has officially signed to Puma against Kanye West’s wishes. Just days after the controversial rapper tweeted that “1000% there will never be a Kylie Puma anything” after news swirled that Jenner has signed onto become the latest brand ambassador.

But Puma has confirmed their deal with the 18-year-old model and reality star. Adam Petrick, the global director of brand and marketing for the company, released a statement on Wednesday, Feb. 17.

“I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that Puma is indeed working with Kylie Jenner. Kylie will be featured in the brand’s spring/summer women’s training campaign launching in April 2016. Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for Puma.”

This comes as shocking news for Kanye, who revealed that he makes the business decisions in the Kardashian-Jenner family. He basically stated that all of the women in the family are already dedicated to his Adidas x Yeezy collection. Kanye also acknowledged the fact that he was blindsided by the fact that Jenner secretly signed with Puma.

TMZ’s photographers caught up with the “Famous” rapper at LAX Airport on the same day that it was confirmed that Kylie Jenner has been officially signed to the brand.

“She had already signed, and I was mad for a little bit, but I’m really happy for her now,” Kanye said.

West appeared calm, cool, and collected when he was interviewed by the photogs, who some confuse for paparazzi.

An inside source revealed to the Hollywood Life that Jenner’s worried that West could mess up her future business deals.

“Kylie feels like business is business and signing with Puma has absolutely nothing to do with Kanye. She’s actually really surprised he’s acting the way he is. She’s disappointed because she thought of all the people he would be proud of her for inking such a lucrative deal.”

The alleged source also said that West’s odd behavior is so out of control that even Kylie’s sister, Kendall, worries that he could tamper one of her many fashion deals. Kendall doesn’t want to become the next sister he lashes out at online, especially since she’s been super supportive of Kylie’s Puma deal.

Even their mom, Kris Jenner, has been concerned about Kanye West. She’s worried that his erratic behavior and controversial Twitter rants could ruin both of her daughter’s careers, a second insider told the celebrity gossip blog. As the matriarch and business woman of the family, she’s desperate to keep their business affairs away from the rapper.

“Kris has advised her daughters not to discuss any upcoming business opportunities or deals with Kanye. She’s told Kylie and Kendall that the less he knows the better. Kris is concerned that Kanye will try and make them feel guilty about any decision they make, and give them poor advice.”

Kendall and Kylie better keep their hands on their fashion deals. The sisters took over New York Fashion Week when they stole the attention away from the other models at the Vera Wang’s Fall 2016 presentation. Meanwhile, Kylie is rolling out a nail polish collection and even more lip kits in the near future, as Kendall continues her endorsement deal with Estee Lauder, which includes her first-ever makeup collection.

Not to mention, the sisters have released their mobile game, which could quickly rival Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. It would not be wise for Kanye to mess with any of their deals.
