Kim Kardashian is a very weary celebrity wife. The famous star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been seeking to keep up with her own responsibilities (mom of two; entrepreneurial pursuits) while attempting to reign in her husband Kanye West. But doing damage control for a man prone to Twitter rants and public meltdowns is proving increasingly tough for Kim, a source told People.
At this point, it’s not just the public and media but some of Kanye’s own pals wondering if he’s having emotional problems. That leaves Kardashian caught trying to prevent West from being his own worst enemy. But her family is aware of his tendencies, and are offering her their support and empathy.
For Kardashian, however, that “tick” means trouble. But there’s one person who is so understanding that he can even join Kim in mocking West, and that is her BFF Jonathan Cheban.
Using the term “chillax” during a live stream, Kardashian and Jonathan teased the rants for which West has become infamous.
“It’s so 1997, I’m, like, embarrassed,” joked Cheban. “Thank God Kanye’s not in the car, or he would’ve had a ‘chillax’ rant.”
Despite maintaining her sense of humor about it all, Kim longs for West to cool it, and People‘s source also revealed that Kanye has a problem with impulse control.
“[Kanye has trouble] controlling his impulses. Kim just wants him to calm down and stop. When he starts his rants, it’s very difficult for him to stop. When he starts venting, it’s like he needs to get it all out. Kanye might seem mentally unstable at times, but there has never been any concern for Kim, or the kids.”
As for the marriage? That’s the sticking point. While Kardashian may not be worried for her own safety or that of their children Saint and North West, staying married to a man with those type of impulse control problems is getting more and more challenging.
Kanye has become so infamous for his Twitter rants and meltdowns that actresses Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn teamed up to mock him, reported Us Weekly.
“On set and #prayingforkanye,” wrote Bell in her Instagram caption. “#BADMOMS #MilaKunis #kathrynhahn.”
(The actresses are filming a comedy Bad Moms, and it’s not a reference to what they think about Kanye’s wife Kim.)
But to Kardashian, there’s nothing comedic about her situation, which is causing so much friction in her marriage that Radar Online describes Kim and Kanye on the verge of divorcing.
An insider revealed to Radar that West actually learned anger management techniques, but they aren’t working anymore.
One person in the inside circle who has expressed concern is Rhymefest, who was West’s co-writer on “New Slaves” and “Jesus Walks.” Rhymefest expressed his concern on Twitter.
“[Kanye] needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental,” posted West’s collaborator.
But Kardashian has had enough.
“Kim’s sick of it,” summed up said the insider.
As the Inquisitr reported, Kardashian recently suffered through a backstage meltdown from Kanye just before he went on Saturday Night Live (SNL). Combined with his Twitter rants and album disses, Kim was so distraught that she had her divorce lawyer prepare papers, so that she would have something ready in case she gets to the breaking point. Kardashian even is allegedly planning an intervention with Amber Rose.
However, new signs have surfaced that Kanye is trying to change, reported Us Weekly.
Asked about his Twitter claim that he is $53 million in debt and request to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg for help him financially, West revealed to photographers at LAX that he actually may get help from the billionaire.
In addition, in what might be a surprise to Kim, Kanye smiled sweetly in response to a question about whether he and Kardashian will have a third child.
“Perhaps,” said the rapper.
