WWE Rumors, Spoilers: Top Rumors Heading Into ‘Fastlane’ — Wyatt Family, Brock Lesnar, Undertaker’s Return

Fastlane is this Sunday and WWE has put together a card that doesn’t look too bad on paper, but it does seem quite predictable. Rumors are still swirling about what will happen and lead WWE solidly onto the road to WrestleMania 32, and set up the card a bit better. Some things are just flat-out obvious, but it will be interesting to see which of the following huge rumors end up coming true.

The Wyatt Family will interfere in the main event to cause a Brock Lesnar loss

No one is really expecting Brock Lesnar to win the triple threat main event match at Fastlane, but fans are hoping WWE surprises them. Lesnar going after the WWE World Heavyweight Title just isn’t the route that WWE is looking to go in right now, and that’s where The Wyatt Family steps in.

In reality, one would think that Lesnar could dispose of both Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose easily and win the match. Not many think it will happen though and even Scott Keith of Sporting News thinks it is blatantly obvious that the Wyatts are going to take out Lesnar.

No one wants it, but that just means even more that it will likely happen.

Roman Reigns will win the main event, and headline WrestleMania 32 against Triple H

It’s expected. It is rumored. It is what every single person thinks is going to happen. WWE really wanted to try and throw some of the hardcore fans off by having Dean Ambrose lose the Intercontinental Title on Raw this past week. That makes it now seem as if, “Hey, he doesn’t have a title anymore. He really could go on to be the new WWE Champion.”

Well, that likely isn’t going to happen.

The Wyatt Family is going to interfere and take out Brock Lesnar which will lead to him being out of the end-of-match result. With that, WWE will build tension, but ultimately, Reigns will get the pinfall on Ambrose to win the match and take the WrestleMania 32 main event spot.

The Undertaker will make his return

It is truly believed that The Undertaker is going to show up either at Fastlane, but more likely he will return to WWE television on Monday Night Raw. When he does come back, it’s going to be to start the build-up for his feud/match at WrestleMania 32.

With word being that Undertaker’s Mania opponent is “not an active wrestler,” it makes little sense for him to show up at Fastlane. WWE will likely have him return the next night on Raw and make the big reveal at that point for his opponent in early April.

If you don’t know who the rumored two possible options are, you may want to check them out.

Sami Zayn debuts and causes Kevin Owens to lose the Intercontinental Title

Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler have had a pretty decent little feud going on, but it was kind of thrown together at the last minute. Now, it’s a title match and one that is expected to be won by Owens so he can get back his two losses to Ziggler over the past couple of weeks.

Slight whispers have been coming about that Sami Zayn is going to be called up to the main roster soon, and it could be before WrestleMania 32. Now, if Zayn is smart, he would not purposely have Owens lose the title so he could go after it himself.

If the rumors from Cageside Seats are correct, Zayn will finish up in developmental at NXT Takeover: Dallas and then be on the main roster for good. That will likely be his final match (possibly against Samoa Joe), but he could arrive in WWE sooner and maybe the night after Fastlane.

Braun Strowman establishes himself as a monster

Fastane is going to be very heavy on The Wyatt Family as Bray Wyatt will probably cement the start of his feud with Brock Lesnar, and expect Braun Strowman to get a big push. He is teaming with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in a six-man tag match against Big Show, Ryback, and Kane.

Strowman will most likely pick up the pinfall victory and be established as a solid monstrous force in WWE. Remember, he is Vince McMahon’s pet project and someone that is expected to get a gigantic push in 2016 and possibly even a match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho steals the show

They have had two good matches so far, and have each cleanly won one of them. This rubber match is going to be great if WWE will actually give Styles and Jericho about 20 solid minutes to work as they know how to work in the ring.

Jericho is great as a heel and it has really been working for him ever since he made the turn a couple of weeks ago. A win isn’t needed by Y2J to establish himself, and neither is one for AJ Styles, but a win for Styles would instantly elevate him up the ladder.

WWE is really hoping that Fastlane is a good pay-per-view as they wanted to make it bigger and mean something more than just a filler. The rumors are flying and it’s not known how many or if any of these will end up coming true on Sunday, but all will lead the way to WrestleMania 32.
