Maci Bookout Reveals When She And Taylor McKinney Will Tie The Knot: ‘Teen Mom’ Wedding Details

Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney became engaged last month after three years of dating, and days later, they discovered the longtime Teen Mom star was pregnant. However, they aren’t letting Bookout’s pregnancy derail their wedding plans, and according to a new report, the couple will tie the knot in October of this year.

Speaking of her fiancé, McKinney, in a new interview, Maci Bookout said he “always spoils” her, and has been even more attentive now that she’s expecting their second child (Maci Bookout is also mom to 8-month old Jayde Carter, whose father is McKinney, and 7-year-old son Bentley from her previous relationship with Ryan Edwards).

“It’s very possible we’ll have two under the age of 1,” Maci Bookout revealed to Us Weekly on February 18. “They’ll definitely be Irish twins!”

Maci Bookout welcomed her first child with McKinney, daughter Jayde, on May 29, 2015, and on May 30, 2016, her son is due. And while Maci Bookout is sure to have her hands full with two young children, her oldest child, Bentley, is excited, and humored, by the news.

“He’s really excited to have a little brother, but he thinks it’s hilarious that Jayde’s going to be a big sister because she’s so little!” Maci Bookout explained.

As Maci Bookout and McKinney prepare to wed, they have made the decision to call it quits with expanding their family once their son arrives.

“There are going to be some permanent birth control decisions made immediately after the birth, but it’s definitely a bonus to have it kind of done and out of the way. It’s done and we’re good to go!” Maci Bookout said.

Maci Bookout and McKinney began dating three years ago, following Maci Bookout’s splits from Kyle King, who fans saw on Teen Mom, and Kyle Regal, a BMX star, but it wasn’t until the Teen Mom franchise turned into Teen Mom OG that fans met him on MTV.

In late 2012, after Maci Bookout’s co-star, Amber Portwood, entered prison for what was supposed to be a five-year sentence (she served just 17 months of her prison term), the Teen Mom series was cancelled, but years later, after Portwood’s release, it was rebooted with the same cast.

Just weeks into filming, with cameras rolling, Maci Bookout announced she and McKinney were expecting their first child together, and after her arrival, she proceeded to drop a number of hints regarding their future engagement. However, throughout filming, McKinney failed to propose to Maci Bookout, and continued to hold out during the next season until finally getting down on one knee during a trip to Los Angeles earlier this year.

On January 19, MTV News confirmed Maci Bookout’s engagement to McKinney, and conducted an interview with the star, in which she revealed that McKinney had tricked her into thinking she was being interviewed for the show.

“When he asked me to marry him, I was in complete shock. I couldn’t believe that it was actually happening, and to be honest, I couldn’t believe that he had pulled it off without me figuring it out …because I usually know everything!” Maci Bookout explained.

Although not many details have been revealed about the couple’s upcoming wedding, Maci Bookout did note that her children would play an important role in her big day.
