Interactive Intelligence Inc. Will Host Mobile Customer Service Industry Web Event In July

The Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. is hosting a free mobile industry Web event at the end of the month, called “The New Mobile World: Changing the Way You’ll Service Your Customers,” according to a press release from the company.

ININ is touting the webinar as ideal for contact center directors, IT directors, and CIO’s seeking to better their service to customers who increasingly use smart phones and other mobile devices for business purposes. The webcast has already drawn roughly 1,200 per-registrants. Speaking at the gathering are Daniel Hong, the lead analyst at Ovum Research, and Donald E. Brown, the founder and CEO of Interactive Intelligence, reports Virtual Strategy.

“With the deployment of smart phones and mobile tablets growing at rapid-fire rates, businesses face a huge opportunity to use these hand-held, location-independent ‘computers’ to create a competitive service advantage,” said Joe Staples, Interactive Intelligence’s chief marketing officer. “We’ve designed our webcast to help these businesses assess key mobile customer service opportunities and challenges, then develop the most effective strategy for selecting and deploying the right technology solution for them.”

Following presentations, there will be a Q&A session where the presenters will be joined by Blair Pleasant, president and principal analyst at COMMfusion, and Richard Snow, global VP and research director at Ventana Research.

The mobile industry educational webcast will take place on July 31st at 11:30 a.m. Eastern time. You can register yourself by clicking here. All registrants will receive a free copy of mobile customer service reports from Ovum and Ventana Research.
