Stassi Schroeder To Host Red Carpet Grammy Awards Special With Kristen Doute

Stassi Schroeder and her Vanderpump Rules co-star, Kristen Doute, are appearing on the Grammy Awards countdown this afternoon. Ahead of the new episode of Vanderpump Rules Season 4, Stassi Schroeder and Doute will be featured on the E! Network’s red carpet special, starting at 4 p.m. EST on February 15.

On February 14, Stassi Schroeder tweeted to fans, encouraging them to tune into her and Doute’s exciting gig.

Since landing her spot on Vanderpump Rules three years ago, Stassi Schroeder has made her passion for fashion evident with her fashion blog, Style By Stassi, and with multiple fashion-related appearances at fashion week and during other events, as well. Meanwhile, Doute recently released her own T-shirt line, James Mae Co.

This morning, Doute tweeted about her and Stassi Schroeder’s upcoming E! Network appearance, as well.

Stassi Schroeder recently returned to Vanderpump Rules for Season 4 after temporarily quitting in May of last year after distancing herself from the majority of her co-stars, and ever since, her friendship with Doute has appeared strong. Although the two women have their doubters, including Scheana Marie and Jax Taylor, they moved in together during filming, and may still be living at Doute’s Los Angeles apartment.

“It is so embarrassing. I was like, ‘No, I’m definitely not!’ And then it’s like, ‘Yup, here I am!’ ” Stassi Schroeder explained to Entertainment Tonight Online of her unexpected return in October, 2015, weeks before the Vanderpump Rules Season 4 premiere. “I took a break and I did some soul searching. There are actually some reasons I want to come back. You’ll see them on the show.”

During the fourth season, Stassi Schroeder met with her former boss, Lisa Vanderpump, which was one of “the roughest days I had.” As expected, Vanderpump, who wasn’t happy with Stassi Schroeder during Season 3, was extremely tough on Stassi Schroeder due to her mean comments about her, and her rude behavior towards her staff.

“I think she was really, really hard on me. I’ve been doing my best to kind of just rectify the specific wrong things that I felt I had done, but I’m not willing to grovel by any means,” Stassi Schroeder said of her current status with Vanderpump. “The relationship is never going to be the same.”

Another relationship which was strained during filming was Stassi Schroeder’s relationship with Patrick Meagher, her boyfriend of over two years. During the show, Stassi Schroeder has admitted to struggling with her relationship with her boyfriend, and even claimed they were no longer intimate after moving from 0 to married couple.

“We have our ups and downs, and we’ve broken up and gotten back together. It’s not like everything is just perfect, but we’re happy, and we’re trying,” Stassi Schroeder said of their relationship.

And while fans have yet to meet Meagher on the show, Stassi Schroeder said a Season 5 appearance by her boyfriend was a possibility.

“He gets more and more comfortable with it every day,” Stassi Schroeder said. “If there’s a season 5 — if I’m welcomed back — there’s a possibility.”
