Mega Millions Winning Numbers And Winners Feb. 12, Jackpot Rolls To $94 Million, Watch Live Drawing Video


The Mega Millions drawing took place last night, Feb. 12, live from the Atlanta, Georgia, studios. The winning numbers results came in at 11:00 p.m., ET, and there wasn’t a grand prize winner. This caused the jackpot to roll from an estimated $87 million to the next drawing’s Mega Millions jackpot of $94 million. The next Mega Millions drawing will take place Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, and you can watch it live, here at the Inquisitr. Last night’s winning Mega Millions numbers are as follows: 1, 7, 44, 68, 73, and the gold Mega Ball is 1. The Mega Million megaplier is 3x.

The Mega Millions Feb. 12 drawing resulted in no grand prize, jackpot winners, nor were there any match five winners. The second-tier prize consists of matching the five white balls with winning numbers from 1-75, but not matching the Mega Ball. The prize for winning the Mega Millions match 5 is $1,000,000. This is multiplied for those who added the Mega Millions megaplier when they purchased their tickets.

Adding a multiplier or megaplier to your lottery tickets is a great way to increase the amount of your winnings. A Virignia man played Powerball and thought he had won $50,000, only to be surprised when he picked up his winning check and saw that he had actually won $150,000. He had forgotten that he added a megaplier or multiplier to his winning ticket.

Third-tier winners include those who matched four white balls with the Mega Ball. There were 22 winners who won third-tier non-jackpot prizes for a total of $5,000 each. Five people won third-tier prizes using the megaplier for a total of $15,000 each. The odds of winning third-tier Mega Millions prizes are 1 in 739,688.

Fourth-tier Mega Millions prizes consist of matching four white balls without the Mega Ball. There were 285 winners who won $500 each. Thirty-five people used the Megaplier and won a total of $1,500 each. The odds of winning fourth-tier Mega Millions prizes are 1 in 52,835.

Fifth-tier Mega Millions prizes consist of matching three white balls and the 1 Mega Ball. There were 1,382 winners who won $50 each and 163 players who added the Megaplier for a total of $150 each. The odds of winning the fifth-tier Mega Millions prize is 1 in 10,720.
