Powerball Live Drawing Video Feb. 10, Winning Numbers Results For $157 Million

It’s Feb. 10, and that means the Powerball drawing is tonight. As there hasn’t been a jackpot winner since the epic Jan. 13 drawing for $1.58 billion the jackpot, the jackpot has risen to $157 million. Anticipation is high and people are excited as the Powerball jackpot is climbing fast again and many hope it will reach epic proportions. Last week’s Powerball drawing resulted in a number of winners, but since no one has won the jackpot, expectation is great that tonight will be someone’s lucky night.

The last Powerball drawing was held on Feb 6 and the winning numbers were 4, 13, 31, 36, 52 and the Powerball was 8. The Power Play was 3x. The Powerball drawing takes place at 11:00 p.m. ET, tonight and the video below will be updated with the live drawing and the winning numbers results.

UPDATE! The winning Powerball numbers for Feb. 10 are in. They are 2, 3, 40, 50, 62 and the Powerball is 5. The Power Play Multiplier is 2x.

The Powerball jackpot has an estimated cash value of $101,700,000, and there are two ways to receive a payout should you be the lucky winner. There are two main jackpot lottery games in the United States They are Powerball and Mega Millions. Of the two, Powerball has the larger jackpot and the most players. Powerball jackpots reset to $40 million while Mega Millions jackpots reset to $15 million. The odds of winning Powerball are more difficult than winning Mega Millions as well. There are nine ways to win Powerball and the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338. The odds of winning an Powerball prize are 1 in 38.32. The smallest prizes are $4 but this can be multiplied based upon choosing the Power Play multiplier when you purchase your tickets.

The smallest Powerball prizes consist of matching the Powerball number or the Powerball number and one of the white balls. Those who match two white balls with the Powerball will win $7, and those who match three white balls win $7 as well.

The prize jumps to $100 for those who match three white balls and the Powerball or match four white balls. Again, this can be multiplied if the winning ticket includes the Power Play multipliers.

Those who match all five white balls minus the Powerball win $1 million and the prize for matching four winning numbers of the white balls and the Powerball is $50,000. There have been many instances of people utilizing the Power Play multiplier and enjoying substantial payouts from these winning number combinations.

Powerball is a multi-state lottery game and each state sets their own rules for how claims are processed. While payouts are the same in most states, California varies in the fact that their prize payouts are considered pari-mutuel. The amount of payouts in California vary based upon how many sales were made and how many people won the prize.

When you purchase a Powerball ticket you should sign the back of it immediately. This provides a safety net should you lose a winning ticket or someone should steal it. Before you can cash or claim a winning ticket, you need to verify your signature on the ticket with a photo I.D. Signing the ticket immediately is the best way to ensure no one can claim they are the rightful owner of the ticket and collect your Powerball payout.

After signing your ticket make sure to keep your ticket safe and protected from damage and being lost. A California lottery player is currently suing the state due to their refusal to pay on a damaged ticket. Brandy Milliner states he had the winning ticket, submitted it for payout and received a congratulatory letter. Then, several months later, he received another letter stating he wouldn’t be receiving the jackpot because the ticket was in poor condition.

The story reminds lottery players to protect their tickets to ensure they are in good condition and eligible for payout.
