Lady Gaga stripped down (except for a mask and a few strategically placed little monsters) in a new ad for her fragrance Fame.
The new black-and-white ad features a naked Lady Gaga lying on her side, holding a bottle of her Fame Fragrance. A group of tiny men in thongs crawl over her body under the ad’s tagline, “The First Ever Black Eau de Parfum.”
The description for Lady Gaga’s new fragrance reads:
“(the fragrance has notes of) tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.”
But Gaga’s personal explanation of the perfume is even more bizarre. The singer told an Australian radio station that her Fame Fragrance makes you smell like “an expensive hooker,” saying:
“[Blood and semen] is in the perfume but it doesn’t smell like it. You just get sort of the after feeling of sex from the semen and the blood is sort of primal. And the blood was taken from my own blood sample so it’s like a sense of having me on your skin.”
According to MTV, the ad was shot by Steven Klein.
Klein worked with Lady Gaga for the “Alejandro” video in 2010. Klein has also done several videos with Madonna and recently worked on Rihanna’s Armani campaign.
Lady Gaga shared her new nude ad with her 25 million Twitter followers today.
