Olivia Munn Posts Hot ‘X-Men’ Picture, Hopes For A Solo Psylocke Film

Olivia Munn always likes to stay close to her fans and that’s why to the delight of so many of her fans, not only did she post a hot picture of herself from X-Men, she also held a Q&A session with her fans, who are awaiting the next X-Men with baited breath.

Munn then participated in a conversation with her fans where she answered several questions about herself and the movie. The star also thanked her fans for participating in the X-Men Twitter Q&A.

Olivia Munn is only debuting as Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse and she already has hopes for a solo film.

“I think if Psylocke had a chance to tell her story, it would be great to start with the genesis and have an understanding,” Munn told Collider. “I think maybe like right as she’s getting out of university and before her whole family—we jump in right before all of her family is taken out and we have an understanding of what she had to lose. Then her figuring out her powers and how powerful she is. I think that would be a great thing to, because it’s something that I always loved about her. That she came from a good family and lost everything. Yeah, I would just like to tell that story.”

Co-Writer Simon Kinberg has said that Psylocke was a last minute addition to the X-Men ensemble. Munn sent Kinberg back some fan art with which depicted her as the comics character. Does she find fan art creepy?

“It was awesome. Whenever fans do things like that, I just think it’s the coolest thing. I mean, it probably takes them no time at all but I’m not artistic in that way, so I’m always amazed by it,” she says.

From the film it seemed like Psylocke’s costume is closest to the comics. When asked about how she liked the costume, Olivia said she thought it was going to be purple, but it turned out to be black. “You’ve got to make it purple”, she told the film crew.

Munn is known to be the fan of the character Psylocke for a very long time. And she said she put in a lot of work to get into the Psylocke character.

She said she had to dive into the psychology of the character. She added the following.

“The way that I see Psylocke is as a very powerful weapon that has been used and abused by different people so that they could use her powers, and she’s somebody who’s just looking for righteous purpose. Right now, that’s why she’s one of the bad guys.. She’s definitely someone who’s very strong, who’s been through a lot. She has really powerful abilities and is just looking for a purpose.”

The X-Men film series debuted in 2000 and has since made nearly $3 billion dollars in revenue. There have been seven X-Men films in all so far. Bryan Singer was the director of the first X-Men that came out in 2000.

X-Men Apocalypse is a story from a script that was written by Dan Harris, Michael Dougherty, and Simon Kinber and the film will focus on the origin of the mutants, Entertainment Weekly said. Singer said that it will address the history of the X-Men from the point of view of of the supernatural — the Gods, miracles, and power.

X-Men: Apocalypse is meant to be a sequel to X-Men: Days of Future Past. The film will realease on May 27 in North America.

The movie surely looks promising, but it remains to be seen whether Olivia Munns’ Psylocke will show its magic or not.
