WWE News: ‘Monday Night Raw’ Preview — Brock Lesnar Returns

Despite the fact that he’s already been booked for the main event of WWE Fastlane, Brock Lesnar hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since Bray Wyatt instructed the rest of the Wyatt Family to eliminate The Beast Incarnate from the Royal Rumble Match just over a week ago. That all changes tonight, as Lesnar is set to appear on WWE Monday Night Raw and will undoubtedly be looking to exact revenge on the Wyatt Family.

Meanwhile, The Authority and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H do whatever they can to make the lives of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose as miserable as possible. So far, the former Shield brethren have remained faithful to one another. Will they continue to do so on WWE Raw tonight, knowing that a spot in the WrestleMania main event is up for grabs in less than three weeks?

According to WWE.com’s official Monday Night Raw preview page, below are five narratives from the WWE Universe that will likely be addressed on the USA Network tonight.

Beast Mode

It would appear as though WWE is building towards Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 32. If that’s the case, Dallas is the first place Lesnar will likely get his hands on Bray. WWE’s preview doesn’t make it seem like he’ll end up actually meeting Wyatt face-to-face tonight. Rather, it sounds as though Lesnar will show up, express his anger, and then turn Birmingham into Suplex City, courtesy of whichever WWE Superstars happen to get in his way on WWE Raw.

On top of confronting the Wyatt Family, Lesnar has yet to respond to the fact that he faces Ambrose and Reigns in a Triple Threat Match at Fastlane. Considering he didn’t want to be in the Rumble Match, one has to assume he won’t be pleased about one more hurdle to clear before wearing the gold once again.

Will tensions rise between Ambrose and Reigns?

On WWE Thursday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose managed to be guests on the Highlight Reel without a physical confrontation. But when two WWE Superstars must face each other in a high-stakes match, it almost always takes a toll on their friendship and loyalties, even when they’re as close as Roman and Dean.

What predicaments will The Big Dog and The Lunatic Fringe find themselves in tonight that are surely meant to drive the two apart? Will both sides of this bromance come to blows before WWE Fastlane?

Of rematches and revenge

Kalisto defeated Alberto Del Rio for the WWE United States Championship at the Royal Rumble eight days ago. Since that time, the King of Flight has defeated The Miz in singles action and successfully defended the U.S. Title against Neville. Surprisingly, former champion ADR has yet to invoke his rematch clause.

Rumors from such sites as Wrestling Inc. are reporting that Del Rio recently suffered a back or neck injury, possibly related to suplex he took from Lesnar during the Rumble Match. WWE may not know the full extent of the injury until doctors look at ADR tonight. If WWE hasn’t determined how soon Alberto can get back in the ring, we might not get a set date for the rematch on WWE Raw tonight.

Will Goldust and R-Truth finally partner up?

First it was the Social Outcasts. Now, the segments between Goldust and R-Truth are getting some serious promotion from WWE. It’s as if someone specifically decided to start pushing everyone who has been at the bottom of the WWE barrel for the last few years.

Both of these WWE Superstars rely heavily on comedy to keep their characters alive in the WWE Universe. We’ll find out on tonight’s WWE Raw whether or not these two have what it takes to keep the WWE Universe laughing.

Like a Boss

While the Road to WrestleMania for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship has been laid out pretty clearly, the drama around the WWE Divas Championship continues to heat up. Charlotte recently retained the Divas Championship against Becky Lynch, only to be attacked by Sasha Banks afterwards. Charlotte returned the favor the next night on WWE Raw.

Tonight, will Becky Lynch have anything to say about these two Divas interrupting her last two matches? Will Naomi and Tamina of Team B.A.D. take issue with Banks acting on her own accord? Could WWE be building towards a Triple Threat Match for the Divas Championship at Fastlane or WrestleMania? The situation will almost certainly progress on Raw tonight.

One week after WWE Royal Rumble 2016 and three weeks prior to WWE Fastlane 2016, the WWE heads to Alabama for the next stop on the Road to WrestleMania. WWE Monday Night Raw airs live on the USA Network at 8/7c.
