Taylor Swift Spends Time With Cats, Selena Gomez, Jaime King After End of ‘1989’ Tour – Is Calvin Harris Relationship Still On?
Taylor Swift was very busy in 2015, but now that her 1989 tour is over, many fans have been wondering what the “Shake It Off” singer has been up to. It seems that Swift has been spending a lot of time catching up with friends lately. Taylor spent some time with BFF Jaime King and got to know her new godchild. Swift also spent some much-needed girl time with Selena Gomez and even got some quality time in with her cats.
Swift took to Instagram on Thursday and posted a video update of her post-1989 tour happenings. It seems that Taylor has been spending some time sitting in her chair with one of her cats. Swift captioned the video of her cat Meridith purring away by saying, “So how do you spend your time now that the tour is over?” It’s pretty understandable that Swift needs some time to recover after performing so many shows all over the world last year.
Taylor Swift wrapped up her 1989 tour in Melbourne in December. According to Radio, the tour brought in $217 million over the past year, which made Swift the highest earner in music in 2015 according to Forbes. After performing 71 concerts in 2015 and 85 in total during the 1989 tour, it seems that Taylor is ready to unwind and spend some time doing non-toury things like pet her cats and catch up with her friends.
Taylor had some major catching up to do with one of her besties, Jaime King. Swift is godmother to Jaime’s brand new baby boy and can be seen cuddling the cutie in another Instagram snap. This isn’t the first meeting between Taylor and Jaime’s second child but it looks like she’s finally getting to enjoy some baby time with the adorable infant.
One of the pictures shows Taylor Swift holding Jaime King’s baby while all three of them pose together. The second picture commemorating Swift’s day with Jaime and her baby show just Taylor and Jaime’s son Leo Thames, who Taylor refers to as “LT” in the photos. In the Instagram photo, LT is seen chewing away on Taylor’s fingers and is captioned, “Pretty wild that 6 months ago, LT wasn’t even born yet and now he chews on my fingers.”
Taylor also spent some much-needed time with Selena Gomez. Swift posted a picture of herself with Selena in what looks like a game of hide and seek. The playful friends have been close for years and spent some time together just two weeks ago and we can only imagine they had a lot to talk about. Selena has been spotted getting extra friendly with both Niall Horan and Samuel Krost in the past couple of months. Not to mention the on-going drama between Gomez and Justin Bieber. Did Taylor spend time with Selena to continue convincing her friend to leave Bieber alone?
What fans haven’t seen happening on Taylor Swift’s Instagram is more time spent with Calvin Harris. Taylor spent Christmas with Calvin and even documented some of their time together while building a snowman but that was several weeks ago now. Calvin and Taylor were rumored to be house hunting together but their reps quickly shot down rumors that the lovebirds were planning to move in together. So what’s really going on with Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris right now?
Currently, there are rumors that Swift’s relationship with Calvin Harris is having problems. Hollywood Life reported that Taylor was texting her friends in order to get relationship advice. That revelation started rumors that Swift was getting ready to dump Calvin but their source says that just isn’t true. Could Taylor be taking special precautions lately to enjoy dating Calvin Harris without the world seeing their every move?
It seems that Taylor wants her post-1989 tour recovery to be as relaxing as possible. With her days filled with cats, Selena Gomez and Jaime King, who could ask for more? We’ll just keep our eyes peeled for the next Swift sighting and hope she’s still lovey-dovey with Calvin Harris.
