Kanye West: Kim Kardashian Shares Video Of ‘Baby Kanye’ Reciting Martin Luther King Poem [Watch]

Kanye West understands the importance of Martin Luther King Day, and he is all about honoring it. This year, he honored the day in a way that might be different than usual. Hollywood Life reports that for MLK Day this year, Kanye West gave his wife, Kim Kardashian, perhaps the most romantic gift ever.

What did Kanye West give Kardashian? A letter. But this wasn’t just any letter; it was titled “I Have a Dream” and a source revealed that in it he expressed himself to the soul.

“Kanye’s love for Kim has risen to new heights. Of all the gifts and sweet gestures he’s either given or done for her over the years, this letter takes the cake. Kanye wrote Kim the most elegant letter of his life and titled it ‘I Have A Dream. In the letter, he tells Kim of the days where he dreamed of walking her down the aisle and marrying his soul mate. He tells her how he’s dreamed of having a family with her.”

But Kanye West didn’t just write about past dreams that he has fulfilled with her; he also wrote of the dreams yet to come true.

“He wrote about his dreams for the future: watching the two of them go to North’s first piano recital, dressing her first prom, watching Saint take his first steps and seeing him play in his first basketball game. Kanye told Kim of his dreams of becoming President of the United States and how he knows that she (Kim) will be the most remarkable First Lady the country has ever had. He even told her how he dreams of the two of them getting old together, and having the same undying love for one another like they had when they first laid eyes on each other. Toward the end of the letter, Kanye told Kim that he’s a lucky man because half of his dreams have come true, thanks to her. He ended the letter, telling Kim he loves her; adding that he hopes the second half of his life will be as fulfilling as his first and told her that only she can make his dreams come true. Kim was floored — absolutely speechless.”

Wow! President of the United States. No one can say Kanye West doesn’t dream big! But West was paying tribute on Martin Luther King Day even when he was just a kid. Us Weekly reports that Kardashian posted an adorable video on Instagram showing Kanye West as a child, reciting a poem. It’s clear that even back then Kanye West did not have stage fright.

“Baby Kanye reciting a Martin Luther King poem. Happy Martin Luther King Day”

Kanye West really honors Martin Luther King Day year round with the work that he does. Just recently, West dropped a song, “No More Parties in L.A.,” on which he collaborated with Kendrick Lamar. The song has a great sound.

But according to The Verge, the song also has a reference to a laptop Kanye West had back in his younger days and how the laptop was stolen by his cousin. The line near the end of the song says it all.

“And as far as real friends, tell my cousins I love ’em / Even the one that stole the laptop, you dirty motherf***er.”

Kanye West also referenced the stolen laptop in the last song he dropped, “Real Friends.”

“I had a cousin that stole my laptop that I was f***in’ bitches on / Paid that n***a 250 thousand just to get it from him.”

It sounds like Kanye West got the laptop back in the end. And it sounds as if his life is one sweet ride these days. Good for you, Kanye!
