Winter is coming! Game of Thrones Season 6 will be here before we know it, and all of our favorite characters will be returning, along with some new faces. So, what can you expect from the people of Westeros this season?
According to Unreality TV, Game of Thrones won't be disappointing when it returns this spring. In fact, there are so many characters and story lines happening all at once some viewers may find it hard to keep up.
One of the biggest questions will also be answered. Is Jon Snow really dead? There have been so many rumors and Game of Thrones spoilers and speculation about whether Kit Harrington's character is or isn't dead after the Season 5 finale, which left it looking like Jon Snow's fate had been sealed. However, not everything is as it seems, and multiple sources have confirmed that Jon Snow's story line will have surprise twist. Meanwhile, fans are just hoping that he'll stay alive and make it through Season 6.
Another huge plot for Game of Thrones fans in Season 6 is the fact that Bran Stark will finally be back. Viewers did not see Bran Stark at all in Season 5, mostly because it seems his training would have been a boring story line to show on the hit HBO drama. However, Bran is back, and looking much older. We can only assume that Bran has honed his abilities and is possibly ready to move forward and try to find what little family he does have left, which is Jon Snow, if he's still alive and his sisters Sansa and Arya.
In a newly released HBO promo, Jamie Lannister is seen wondering the halls of what seems to be the castle while wearing his Kings Guard armor. What will he face now that his sister, Cersei, has been shamed and ridiculed for her poor choices, including incest with her family members, mostly brother Jamie?
The International Business Times reports that fan favorite character Daenerys Targaryen will also have some interesting things happen to her during Season 6 of Game of Thrones. When we last saw the Khaleesi she was surrounded by a huge army of Dothraki soldiers. While it is safe to say that Daenerys likely won't die, she could use this army to her advantage. The Dothraki are skilled warriors whom she has already won over once while married to Khal Drago. Perhaps she'll earn a place with the new Dothraki as well.
A crazy Game of Thrones theory about the beloved character of Tyrion Lannister is that he may possibly belong to the Targaryen family in a shocking twist. If this turned out to be true, it looks like Tyrion, played by the brilliant Peter Dinklage, could have a serious stake to the iron throne that his nephew currently sits on.
Actress Emilla Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen says that Season 6 is non stop action, especially for her character, so fans better be ready.
"It's just go, go, go, go. Shocking moment to shocking moment. Epic moment to epic moment. It's mental; it's epic. And definitely Dany's a part of it."Fans can also expect to see some new faces during the upcoming season of Game of Thrones. Tamar Hassan from NCIS will reportedly be playing a Dothraki and as reported months ago, a young version of Ned Stark has been cast for a flashback scene.
Fans are definitely on the edge of their seats waiting for April to arrive and bring with it Season 6 of Game of Thrones, but until then we'll all just have to be happy with the spoilers that have come out.
