Miranda Lambert And Anderson East Have A ‘Pig’ Love, Blake Shelton Knows All About Miranda’s Porker Obsession

Miranda Lambert and her new boyfriend, Anderson East, are showing Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton that they aren’t the only sweetheart singers who can engage in adorable social media flirting.

Anderson East recently appealed to Miranda Lambert’s love of all things porcine by regramming an Instagram video that shows two pink pigs all decked out in University of Alabama gear entertaining a small herd of cattle. Anderson simply captioned the video below, “Ball game.”

The cute pork chops rooting for Alabama and rooting around in the ground are internet celebrities Priscilla and Poppleton Pig, and they’re big Miranda Lambert fans. You can see the adorable evidence of their Lambert love in the photo below.

Animal lover Miranda Lambert just couldn’t resist mimicking Anderson East’s social media move by regramming the micro pigs’ cute video. Unlike Alabama boy Anderson, Miranda didn’t seem too concerned about the Monday night showdown between the Crimson Tide and Clemson Tigers – she was too busy thinking about how much love she has for her Southern boy. From the sounds of it, Miranda Lambert loves Anderson East just as much as she loves little pigs.

As Us Weekly points out, Miranda snuck in a subtle plug for her Pistol Annies band by using a lyric from the country trio’s single, “Boys from the South,” to let her fans know just how much she adores her Alabama boy. She also made it clear that she’s still a Texas Longhorns fan, but she loves Anderson East enough to help him root for his team when they’re playing ball.

Miranda Lambert’s new man likely knew that she wasn’t a big Crimson Tide fan, so perhaps he was trying to use Priscilla and Poppleton to make his team a little more appealing to the Texas native, who absolutely adores pigs. Miranda has two pot bellied pigs that she was likely awarded custody of when she and Blake Shelton divorced back in July of last year, and she also has an affinity for all things that are pig-shaped. In December 2014, Blake gifted Miranda with a pair of fluffy pig slippers as an early Christmas present.

Miranda Lambert also showed off her love of pigs in 2013 when she and Blake Shelton cooked hot dogs in a pig-shaped grill. The photo below was taken during a rummage sale in Blake’s hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, which is also the location of Miranda’s The Pink Pistol boutique. The store shared the photo on its Facebook page.

Miranda and Blake’s marriage might be over, but it looks like Miranda’s love of pigs has rubbed off on her ex. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Blake Shelton is going to voice a green hillbilly pig in the upcoming Angry Birds movie.

While Blake has been busy lending his Southern drawl to a one half of a future green eggs and ham breakfast, Miranda Lambert and Anderson East have been getting a little R&R by cuddling up like two cozy pigs in a blanket. Miranda recently shared the Instagram photo below along with the caption, “The snuggle is real.”

Unfortunately for Miranda, it’s probably really hard to snuggle Anderson right now. According to Us Weekly, the Southern R&B singer broke his collarbone at the start of the New Year, so cuddling probably won’t be very comfortable for him until he recovers from his injury. Miranda and Anderson kicked off 2016 by hitting the slopes in Aspen, but their romantic ski trip got cut short when Anderson suffered a nasty fall. Miranda Lambert was recently photographed in her boyfriend’s hometown of Athens, Alabama, so perhaps she headed there to play nurse to her busted-up beau.

If Miranda Lambert is taking care of Anderson East by serving him breakfast in bed, Priscilla and Poppleton might appreciate it if she keeps bacon off of the menu.
