Horrifying: Mother Encourages Sobbing Toddler Girls To Fight In Sickening Facebook Video
A disturbing Facebook video in which a mother encourages two sobbing toddler girls to “ball up some fists” to settle their differences caused a local television station to alert the state’s social services department.
The video surfaced online on Sunday, and the video was reported to KTVI television by a woman who knows the mother in the video. “Got some action! Got some action!” yells the unidentified mother, egging on two girls who appear to be around age 3. “Y’all better ball up some fists!” she shouts, as the toddlers punch, slap, and shriek at each other sobbing their eyes out.
The woman who reported it did not wish to be identified, but said she could barely sit through the video, reports NY Daily.
“It’s just sickening and I feel like there should be some kind of criminal action taken,” she said. “‘Ball up your fist,'” the woman said incredulously, quoting the mother in the video. “It’s like she’s training her before she starts school or something.”
The local news station that received the video reported it to the state’s social services department on Tuesday. A spokesperson from the department declined to comment on whether or not the department had seen the video before or whether or not they had been investigating the mother prior to the report, according to UrbanNewsRoom.
The mother’s name was not released, and the two toddlers fighting in the video have been blurred out. You can see the video for yourself here.
