Cam Newton Baby — Carolina Panthers Quarterback And Girlfriend Announce Birth Of Son

Cameron “Cam” Newton, surely known for his athleticism and trendy celebrations, has just announced the birth of his new baby boy. Along with his girlfriend, Newton took to Twitter to let the world know that he’s “extremely blessed.”

Cam Newton discussed his baby boy via his Twitter page on December 30. Newton made two posts that would tell the world how proud he is to be the father of his and his girlfriend’s son. Cam stated as follows:

“My longtime girlfriend and I were extremely blessed to have a son last week. Our family is excited and thank you all for the well wishes! I’ve been quiet about this because I didn’t want to create a distraction for my team and appreciate the privacy in this joyous time.”

According to ESPN, on Christmas Eve, Cam Newton actually left football practice early. Coach Ron Rivera told the team, as well as reporters, that Newton had a non-negative family emergency. As it appears, Daddy Cam was pushing to make it to the delivery of his new baby boy.

The sports news source states that Newton’s son now brings his “rocking the baby” dance into perspective. It was an admirable move by Cam to keep the family affairs suppressed from the media as well as his team. To avoid several illegitimate rumors from starting, Newton probably found it more personal to only mention it once it happens.

To support the possibility, the source states that Cam Newton “is a leading candidate to win the NFL’s Most Valuable Player Award. He has a career-high 33 touchdown passes and rushed for eight.” With this type of publicity on the hunt for anything “Cam” related, the slightest mentioning of his “soon-to-be” baby son could’ve set off various media scandals or backlashes from disgruntled, anti-Panthers relics.

If you remember, a few months ago, an upset mother from Tennessee wrote a Cam Newton letter due to one of his celebrations. The Charlotte Observer covered the story back in November. One of the mother’s excerpts stated as follows.

“I don’t know about your family life Mr. Newton, but I think I’m safe in saying thousands of kids watch you every week. You have amazing talent and an incredible platform to be a role model for them. Unfortunately, what you modeled for them today was egotism, arrogance and poor sportsmanship.

Is that what your coaches and mentors modeled for you, Mr. Newton?”

What? Now, to know that Cam Newton had a baby on the way, yet he took the woman’s snide comments and kept moving in silence. The mother’s letter also hinted at Newton’s charitable efforts.

“I refuse to believe you don’t realize you are a role model. You are paid millions of dollars every week to play hard and be a leader. In the off season you’re expected to make appearances, support charities, and inspire young kids to pursue your sport and all sports. With everything the NFL has gone through in recent years, I’m confident they have advised that you are, by virtue of your position and career choice, a role model.”

But as can be seen from the following tweets, aside from his baby boy news, Cam has been handling his charitable appearances just fine, yes? Even posing with Ice Cube in a “Dab” moment — a trending dance.
