‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Robin Consoles Elizabeth, Will She Convince Jason To Take Liz Back?

Robin Scorpio is back in Port Charles and reconnecting with her family and friends. On Monday’s episode of General Hospital, she had just left Patrick alone with Sam Morgan so that they could talk privately.

Once she arrived at the hospital for a doctor’s appointment, Robin ran into an old friend. Elizabeth was at work and was surprised to see Patrick’s wife back in town. It was a happy occasion, at least for a minute or two. Robin told Elizabeth how happy she was that she got her son Jake back. Of course, the conversation then turned to her engagement to Jason.

Robin didn’t know that those two had broken up. She only knew that Patrick had broken it off with Sam, but he failed to mention that Jason was free as well. Elizabeth told her that he broke off their engagement when she didn’t tell him that she knew who he was for months.

Robin really didn’t seem too shocked upon hearing the news that Liz lied about it. However, she did ask her how she could do such a thing.

“Well, why would you do that? How could you do that to Jason?”

Robin’s family went through the same thing when they thought she was dead previously on General Hospital. She knows how hard it was for them to grieve for her. She wondered how Elizabeth could do that to Jason’s family and friends.

Elizabeth explained exactly why she lied to everyone, including Jason. She said that when she fell in love with him, he was only Jake Doe. He didn’t have a past when they started their relationship. Once she found out he was Jason, she told Robin that she knew in her mind what would happen.

“I knew that Carly was going to drag him back into his old life and right back to Sam. She is the only one who would tolerate Carly. And I didn’t want that. So yeah, I lied. I lied to keep him with me and to protect the family that I wanted to have with him and my boys. And I know that it was selfish and unfair, but you know what? I would do it again.”

As they stood there in the hospital, Robin listened to her speech and her reasoning behind the lie she kept to herself. Elizabeth then waited for another lecture. However, she got a hug instead from Robin. General Hospital viewers may have wondered what was going on at that point.

She told Liz that she wasn’t going to judge her because she is punishing herself already. Elizabeth has been a friend to Patrick and Robin and has known them for years. Robin may just have felt the pain that Elizabeth was going through, even if she didn’t agree with how she handled the situation.

Robin then questioned her if she recognized Jason at all during the time before she found out it was him. Elizabeth said that his face isn’t the same at all but in other ways, he is exactly the same Jason they both know and love.

This now sets up the meeting on the bridge between Robin and Jason. On Monday’s episode, Robin left the hospital to go the one place she always went to think. This is also the place where Jason used to do the same thing. These two friends did not recognize each other at first, but then Jason asked if she was Robin.

On Tuesday’s episode of General Hospital, Jason and Robin will somehow reconnect. It looks like they will talk a little bit about their past and possibly about their future. Will Elizabeth come into the conversation as well?

Since Robin sympathized with Liz and consoled her, she may just try to convince Jason to forgive his former fiancé. But will she also try to talk him into taking her back? Or will she be cheering for Sam?

It could very well be that Robin will just be a friend to Jason and let him try to regain his memories from his past life to make his own choice for his future.
