Iggy Azalea Teases New Song, ‘Team,’ Gets Slammed For Plastic Surgery Again
Iggy Iggs is back! Iggy Azalea is teasing some new music for the upcoming new year. The Australian rapper took to her social media accounts to announce the lead single off her sophomore album, Digital Distortion.
Iggy Azalea revealed to her fans that her new single is called “Team.” The rapper revealed that the song is “20 percent meaningful, 70 percent bop, and 10 percent ratchet.” Azalea chose this to be her lead single because it’s about being able to defend yourself.
According to Idolator, “Team” sounds similar to “7Teen,” the song she teased from the studio earlier this month. But since Iggy’s been through so much criticism with her music and her plastic surgery, it would make sense that she would release such a single. Iggy even took to Twitter to confirm that “Team” is the lead single, although it won’t be released on iTunes. Instead, it will be featured on other free streaming platforms, such as SoundCloud and YouTube.
In her series of tweets, Azalea also said that the lead single won’t be released in January. Instead, she will be releasing content, buzz singles, viral videos, and other “cool stuff” for her fans to enjoy. Well, that’s kind of confusing for her fans and the general public. Azalea revealed that her new album will have a pop influence, although she’s been influenced by “many other things,” as well.

She also shared a snippet of her new single on Twitter. Even though it’s a bop, it has a noticeably slower flow than her previous songs, according to SPIN.

Iggy Azalea also took to her Instagram to tease the lead single, even though it’s not coming as soon as you think. She shared this black-and-white photo of the possible lyrics to her new single.
One fan wrote: “You are one of the most beautiful woman I’ve seen, stop messing with your looks.”
Another added: “Oh yea & them lips were done too.”
But there are some fans who don’t think that Iggy Azalea has gotten temporary lip fillers. One argued: “Her lips have always been big. Hop off,” while another said, “She hasn’t gotten anything done to her lips. You can tell different colors make her lips appear different.”
But even the folks at SOHH.com have been wondering about Iggy Iggs’ “lit” new lips. They also noticed that her recent Instagram post has brought some unwanted attention to her lips. This isn’t the first time that Iggy has been criticized for one of her Instagram posts. Earlier this month, the 25-year-old pop act shared a black-and-white photo of herself with her fiancé, Nick Young, prior to the holidays.
But not all of the comments were negative. Some of Iggy’s fans came to her defense and even complimented her for sharing the loving photo.
One follower wrote: “Grow up and stop the racist comments and leave that girl alone like I said…go find someone more relevant to talk about…like the kardashians….”
Another one added: “Goals omg I’m so happy for you.”
Iggy Azalea has always been open about her plastic surgery procedures. She made everyone talk when she made an appearance at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards earlier this year. Azalea didn’t just debut new pink hair, but she also debuted what appeared to be a new face or features, sparking plastic surgery rumors.
According to Us Weekly, the artist went under the knife to get a nose job and chin implant. It’s been rumored that the plastic surgery procedures are part of her “image overhaul.”
“She loves the results! She wasn’t happy with her nose for a long time, so after the boobs she wanted to get that take care of and then got the chin done at the same time.”
In March, the blonde pop act revealed to Vogue’s 73 questions interview challenge that she underwent breast augmentation surgery.
“I did change something: Four months ago, I got bigger boobs! I’d thought about it my entire life.”
