Tom Cruise Reuniting With Suri Over Christmas Holiday? Katie Holmes’ Rep Sets Record Straight

News that Tom Cruise is reuniting with his daughter over the Christmas holiday is making headlines.

According to OK! magazine, Tom plans to spend two days at ex-wife Katie Holmes’ New York apartment to spend Christmas with her and their 9-year-old daughter.

“It’s the first time Suri will have seen Tom in months,” OK!’s source reveals.

The insider claims that it’s been months since Tom has spent time with Suri and it’s a family occasion everyone is looking forward to. In fact, it was supposedly Katie’s idea because she wants them to all get along like other divorced celebrities with young children.

“It was Katie’s idea for them to spend time together over the holidays,” said the OK! source. “She sees how other celebrities manage to stay friends after separating, and she thinks it’s sad that Suri so rarely sees her father.”

According to another OK! report back in August, Cruise saw Suri for three hours when he was working on a Mission: Impossible circuit. It was a fairly hush-hush meeting that took place at an apartment near Central Park that belonged to someone on his management team.

An insider at the time said Tom and Suri spent a “lovely” day together, according to Hollywood Life.

“Suri was so excited,” a source told the magazine. “It was emotional for both of them. [Tom] was overcome seeing Suri again. He knows he could miss seeing her grow up if he’s not careful.”

A rep for Katie Holmes tells Gossip Cop exclusively that this isn’t the case at all… citing OK!’s story as simply “untrue.”

Other reports allege that Tom Cruise has entertained the idea of leaving the Church of Scientology so that he can spend time with his daughter. Speculations continuously grow that Tom is mindful that he’s missing out on his daughter’s upbringing. It’s not something that’s probable since Cruise is such an active member in the church and is strongly devoted to his faith.

It’s unknown when the movie star will see Suri again. As hard as it is for the public to comprehend, it’s entirely possible celebrities like Tom Cruise make secret arrangements to see relatives. Big name stars have the resources to keep the paparazzi from poking around if they use smart strategies.

As for other reports that have surfaced over Cruise and his relationship with Suri, there’s other rumors that Katie wants child support for their daughter increased. Apparently, $400,000 a year isn’t enough to afford the luxurious life they’ve gotten used to that Cruise was able to pay for.

“She’s going to ask that the $400,000 a year in support she currently gets be amended to a higher amount,” an insider told Life & Style. “While Katie’s taking every acting job that comes her way, she doesn’t have the ability to keep her and Suri living the lifestyle that Tom’s fortune allowed.”

The source added that Suri is getting older and needs more money to travel around the country with her mother. She also takes dancing, skating, and music lessons. It goes without saying that she also gets new clothes, has tutors, and gets things for arts and crafts.

At the end of it all, everything appears to be sheer speculations. What will Tom Cruise be doing for the holidays? If he sees Suri and wants it to be in private, chances are he and Katie pull it off without anyone knowing anything about it.
