Jon Hamm Robbed: Actor’s Hotel Room Broken Into After Girlfriend’s Purse Gets Stolen

Jon Hamm was robbed during a trip to London earlier this month.

According to Life Style, the Mad Men actor was having dinner with his girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt when somebody snatched her purse. The thief found the couple’s hotel key in the purse and broke into their room. Hamm has not said what was taken from the hotel room.

A source told Life Style:

“They were dining at a restaurant and Jennifer’s purse was snagged by someone…. That person took the hotel key in Jennifer’s purse, which had the hotel name on it, and robbed their room. They had to contact the police, it was horrible.”

Westfeldt confirmed the robbery, saying:

“What a mess… [I’m not feeling] great. It is under investigation.”

Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt were in London promoting their new film Friends With Kids. Westfeldt wrote, directed, and starred in the movie. Hamm also starred in the movie and they both produced.

Jennifer said that she was a little worried about working with Hamm but said that the experience brought them closer together. Westfeldt said:

“Some people would say they could never work with their partner, but we found it incredibly bonding… Independent films are so stressful; it feels like pushing a boulder up a hill. So it felt great to have a partner in crime.”
