Atz Lee Kilcher Wakes Up From Terrible Accident In New Preview [Video]

Atz Lee Kilcher took a hard fall recently and this week on Alaska: The Last Frontier viewers will get to see Atz Lee after the fall and waking back up again. ET was able to share a clip of the new episode that shows how things are going for him. Atz Lee Kilcher is actually the brother of country music singer Jewel, even though she doesn’t appear on the show. Everyone loves getting the chance to see how her family lives and what she came from.

This preview shows Atz Lee the morning after his fall 40 feet down from a cliff. He is in the intensive care unit and his wife Jane is by his side. Jane Kilcher is explaining that she just doesn’t get exactly what happened to him. Atz Lee does remember falling and that he couldn’t move his arm or leg. He knew he was in trouble, but Atz Lee couldn’t even see the cliff before he fell. He is lucky to be alive because it could have been a lot worse for him.

Atz Lee Kilcher shares that he broke his hip, shoulder blade, and all of his ribs. They also had to put a few screws into his foot. Kilcher won’t be able to move out to the hunter’s cabin right away like he had planned. Jane even admits how hard it was on her and that she wishes that it was her and not him who fell. She hates seeing him like that, but admits that this changes everything. This fall has it where things will never be the same for the Kilcher family, at least for a while. Atz Lee Kilcher has to focus on his recovery.

Kilcher actually went to his Instagram about a week ago and gave fans an update on how he is doing. It has been a rough time for him, but things are looking up. Here is what he had to say about it.

“Still hard to acknowledge how bad off I was. Broken ankle, hip,shoulder blade, arm,two punctured lungs and over a dozen broken ribs. My recovery is going slow but steady to me but the DRs say I’m recovering fast all considering.working hard with my physical therapist and looking forward to running and jumping from trees and mountain tops again someday. Thanks to my family for being by my side and thanks so much to all the people that have been keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. Patience is my friend.”

When you live out in the Alaskan wilderness, you have to be able to move around and get out to do things. Atz Lee instead will be spending his time in a bed and recovering. This fall makes it where he can’t just go out and do things like he always has, but luckily he has his wife Jane by his side helping him out through all of it. At this time, Atz Lee is still going through his recovery.

Atz Lee Kilcher is obviously doing better, but he has a long road ahead of him still. This season on the show viewers will get to see his battle with getting better. It is great that Atz Lee is willing to share all of this with his fans. Everyone has been replying to him on social networks that they are wishing him the best.
