Khloe Kardashian Reveals Uncut Truth About ‘Moving Forward,’ Loving, And Divorcing Lamar Odom

Khloe Kardashian definitely has mixed feelings about Lamar Odom but, that doesn’t mean she’s unsure about her future. According to Us Weekly, the 31-year-old reality star opened up about her dwindling marriage on the most recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Despite the pitfalls of their marriage, she admitted she’ll always love Lamar. However, that doesn’t mean she isn’t ready to move on with her life. Although she was fine with walking away from him prior to his recent brush with death, she admitted that things have definitely changed due to the recent turn of events that have altered his life.

“I still very much love Lamar but I need to move forward. I don’t feel you ever really have peace from walking away from any situation that you wish ended up differently… Do I know for a fact that I’ve done every single thing that I could to try to save that marriage? A hundred percent.”

Of course, even people who aren’t fans of the Kardashians are well aware of the uphill battle Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are fighting due to his recent brush with death. The estranged couple had almost finalized their divorce, but things took a horrific turn when Lamar was found unconscious inside a Las Vegas brothel. In a matter of hours, the former NBA star went from living a relatively normal life of luxury to fighting for his life.

When Lamar was admitted to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, he was suffering from kidney failure and a number of other complications that led many news outlets to believe he was extremely close to dying.

Specific details about Lamar’s condition have yet to be released to the public, but Khloe has made it clear that he has a long road to recovery ahead due to cognitive impairments. Lamar has made some progress but reportedly has difficulty speaking, walking and remembering things. Although the claims have not been confirmed, an insider has revealed Lamar is also battling incontinence. Since the extent of his brain damage remains unknown, doctors are still unable to determine what his quality of life will be over time.

For these reasons, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom decided to halt their divorce proceedings, which immediately led fans to believe they’d decided to reconcile. But, she’s made it clear that that isn’t the case. Back in October, Khloe took to Twitter to set the record straight, according to In Touch Weekly. Although divorce was initially part of their plan, Khloe explained that divorce was an inappropriate action in the wake of Lamar’s medical crisis.

“It’s out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that’s not in our thought process right now… There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It’s not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now.”

The latest news comes shortly after Khloe Kardashian fired back at social media users for criticizing her relationship with James Harden in the wake of Lamar Odom’s brush with death. Once again, Khloe had no reservations about defending her decision. Despite Lamar Odom’s alleged infidelity and drug use, she’s still been supportive as he fights to recover.
