Now that Jill and Jessa Duggar are returning to TLC, a lot of viewers feel like it is time for a boycott against the network. Almost five months after 19 Kids and Counting was canceled, the Duggars are set to return to television.

A lot of people are not okay with the Duggars coming back even though Josh will not be allowed to be on this special. It is supposed to all be about Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard, but, of course, the preview showed that Anna, Josh’s wife, will be on the special as well. This will be the first time that Anna has said anything about what happened with Josh. This three-part special is set to air its first episode on December 13 on TLC. The Hollywood Gossip shared that viewers are now boycotting TLC.

A new Facebook page is calling for the boycott of TLC and all Discovery channels because of the special about Jill and Jessa Duggar. This page, called “Take the Pledge, Boycott All Discovery Channels,” has over 1,000 likes, but that isn’t enough to get TLC to really notice. The Duggars’ specials are still going to air, and so far TLC and the Duggars are just ignoring this page. They aren’t going to be quiet about it, though, and will continue to try to get more supporters. The special about the Duggars isn’t airing for two more weeks, so they do have time. Here is what the page has to say about boycotting these channels.

“Like this page to take the pledge on Dec 13, 20 and 27 2015 join us in boycotting all Discovery network channels for the one hour they are airing the TLC show Jill & Jessa Counting on 8/7 c This family minimized childhood sexual abuse showing victims they do not matter.”

People on this page are talking about how showing the Duggars makes it look like what Josh did is forgiven and that everyone is just moving on. This page is meant to be all about how the Jill and Jessa’s specials shouldn’t happen, and the people who are boycotting are showing their support against child sexual abuse. Josh Duggar is still in rehab at this time and getting help for sexual addiction. This show will talk about what happened with him but is said to focus on Jill and Jessa and their lives instead of Josh’s mistakes. Now that Jill and Jessa are married, they both have a child and their lives are a lot different. Fans of 19 Kids and Counting are interested in seeing how they are doing now that they have moved out of the Duggar home and are on their own raising their children.

Insiders at TLC are already saying that if Jessa and Jill: Counting On gets huge ratings, then this show with the Duggar girls will end up getting a full season. Jessa and Jill now have families of their own and would be able to have their own show without the rest of the Duggar family. So far, Josh Duggar is the only one TLC is saying won’t be on this series. Fans have been hoping that the show would go on without Josh and that could end up being what happens.

Do you think the Duggar family should be totally kept off of TLC? Do you feel like continuing to show them is just sweeping what happened with Josh under the rug? Sound off in the comments below on your thoughts. If you want to see the Duggars, don’t miss Jill & Jessa: Counting On when it airs on December 13 on TLC.
